We’re an insurance intermediary exclusively providing a niche insurance product to the UK market. I’m the managing director of this intermediary. In this role, I provide oversight, control, and accountability for our marketing and market positioning.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to increase awareness of our core insurance offering. We also wanted to increase applications through the online quote-and-buy system by 300% in the initial three-month period and 600% by the end of twelve months.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Catalyst was recommended to us by an existing mutual colleague. We chose Catalyst because of their experience working with industries that are relevant to our insurance offering. Also, the team is proactive, agile, and hard-working.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Catalyst undertook a growth audit to analyze our business and define our market position and branding relative to other players in our industry. Following this work, we were able to prioritize their workflows to ensure that they focused their efforts on the areas that required the most work.

Their services initially included web re-design, social media engagement, and PPC and SEO optimization. Catalyst created workflows in HubSpot to tailor their services to our end-users, including both prospects and customers. They’ve developed a compelling roadmap of further enhancements and strategies that we will deploy over the next twelve months.

What was the team composition?

I've worked closely with the owners of the firm and our account manager. We have a great working relationship.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Applications have already increased by 150%, and the metrics that we track for our website (number of visitors, bounce rates, new contacts) have improved considerably. We’ve increased our online engagement from paid advertising, and our awareness in the marketplace is constantly increasing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have strong lines of communication with regular email correspondence and telephone calls. We also make use of the project management tool Monday. Catalyst responds in a timely and informed manner, and this enables us to remain agile in our response to market opportunities.

We’re impressed by the ideas that they bring to the table and their ability to deploy these ideas in a cost-effective and timely manner. Catalyst is an agile organization that is not afraid to challenge the status quo of our business and interrogate our operations. We were looking to find other avenues to get into contact with new clients. We have a strong existing contact database and word of mouth following, but we wanted to explore new ways of finding business.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to optimize my Linkedin profile and drive leads through the platform. Catalyst has built an in-house LinkedIn automation tool which proved to be incredibly powerful.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for a Birmingham based Marketing agency on Google. Catalyst Marketing Agency was very high up the rankings, so this was a big factor in our decision.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

After we selected the vendor and got into contact with them initially through a phone call, I had a series of meetings. I sat down with Paul (Co-Owner & Director, Catalyst) and Oliver (Marketing & Business Development Manager, Catalyst) to design a detailed strategy and approach for the next six months.

We had a number of tactics that we used after two months in order to enhance the success of the project. We increased the number of eShots we sent to a new customer database, increased the automation levels, and found new account-based marketing approaches for existing clients.

What was the team composition?

I worked very closely with Oliver and the two directors, Sarah (Co-Owner & Director, Catalyst) and Paul. I never worked directly with the other members of the staff, but when I did, they were always polite and very helpful if I needed anything over the phone.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Through LinkedIn, I achieved over 450 new connections and gained 32 new clients. I had many positive conversations and my network now looks very impressive. It got us into contact with a number of exciting prospects. The project was more of a social strategy, so I'm very happy with the outcome of the overall project. It worked brilliantly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very easy to communicate with them, as I had phone numbers for the three staff members I listed above. I also had emails and the main contact number of Catalyst. There was never a time where I didn't speak to anyone regarding any concerns I had.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the in-depth strategy that was created. Most marketing agencies that I have worked with in the past never went into the amount of detail that Catalyst did. They always referred back to business growth, and as a business owner and partner, that's what you want to hear. They followed through on all their promises, and I would be happy to work with the team again.

In my case no, everything I wanted to achieve was completed.
