Basecamp was recruited to design and implement a comprehensive new brand strategy and website design across the company's three core brands. This included a complete new parent brand identity with logo and website, as well as two additional sub-brands that needed to fit into the overall identity. The website needed to incorporate all three brands in a scalable and consumable structure.

Progress was measured in delivered assets & other graphic elements (like figma mocks & models)

Campground has the unique ability to deliver amazing design capabilities, spot-on project management, and close personal engagement that make for very successful outcomes.

There's always room for improvement, but nothing stands out here.

I’m the CEO of an anti-money laundering software company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Campground?

We were looking for someone to help us with UI/UX design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had some basic wireframes for the frontend design of our desktop application, and they’ve helped us build those out. Additionally, they’ve made a lot of design suggestions to improve the overall UX. They use Figma to create designs.

They also help us with some graphic design work for trade shows. This involves creating promotional materials for our booth, such as t-shirts, hats, and other things like that.

What is the team composition?

We work with three people from their team, including a lead designer.

How did you come to work with Campground?

We had worked with them in the past, and the founder of their company used to be the head of design of one of the companies that my CTO previously worked for.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent about $35,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2022, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have received a lot of really good feedback — people at tradeshows have taken pictures of our stuff and talked about how much they love them. We feel like we’re making a big impact in the industry, so working with them has been a very positive experience.

How did Campground perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been good in this regard. We communicate regularly through Slack and phone calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve been very happy and impressed with the level of talent and experience that their UI/UX designers have. We really need all the experience we can get because this is a complicated project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I think they’re doing a good job.
