Introduce your business and what you do there.
Fitlion is an e-commerce store selling sports nutrition products. I was the digital marketing manager.
What challenge were you trying to address with Brew Interactive?
We brought in their team to help us with marketing automation, primarily e-mail marketing. We needed to set up a more realistic way of targeting and contacting leads besides just blasting out messages to our entire list.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us map out our entire customer funnel and how to break up those categories in order to send them the right types of content for where they were in the customer journey.
They connected all of our workflows through HubSpot and helped us to plan out our email timing, mapping when the right time was to follow up with different customers in order to maximize the responses that we were getting.
What is the team composition?
We worked with their CEO and an account manager for the most part. They had other individuals on the project, but they worked behind the scenes for the most part.
How did you come to work with Brew Interactive?
I had worked with them to host a website in a previous role, so I knew that they would be able to handle the work that we needed from them.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our project took place during the month of November 2016.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I was tracking the impact of their work through our email engagement and click-through metrics, and the effect they had was absolutely huge. If you think about it from an email marketing perspective, open rate was very low and is now high even for a HubSpot maximized company’s standards. We are very happy with the work that they did and the results we saw from it.
How did Brew Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
For the most part, we communicated over phone and email, but they did such a good job managing the project that I really didn’t have to keep track of them. Their project manager took care of the whole process from end to end, and my primary role was to provide them with the overall goals of the project. From there, they were able to map out specific tactics and execute them on their own.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The level of personal connection that they are able to establish between your company and their agency is truly impressive. They demonstrate an investment in your company not just as customers, but as partners.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I have been satisfied with everything that they delivered for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t treat them just as a normal outsourcing agency. They will work with you to accomplish anything that you need.
