BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the president of a beauty startup that has invented a new nail care tool. Our tool optimizes three nail care procedures during manicures and pedicures. We have a patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and are close to entering the market.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bangluxor?

We needed website design services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bangluxor polished a basic website design I had initially provided. I'm not a web designer; I watched YouTube videos and created a skeleton of the site using WordPress and Elementor. We then defined the scope of work, and in my first meeting with Bangluxor, I explained our company and what I wanted for the site's design and functionality. Bangluxor built an e-commerce website with cart and member area functionalities.

We spent $870 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Bangluxor from August 2023–January 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Bangluxor performed an excellent job understanding my needs and delivering an optimized website. Bangluxor followed my initial structure and format, creating designs with their own style. The team incorporated videos and icons and put a lot of creativity into our design. I liked their good taste in color combinations. 

Bangluxor stood out for their receptivity to my feedback and comments on things that needed to be up to my eyes regarding design. I felt included in the work process and found good teamwork in Bangluxor.

How did Bangluxor perform from a project management standpoint?

Bangluxor met the project's deadlines, and we mainly communicated via email and WhatsApp.

I want to highlight Andres' work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by Bangluxor's modern design focus and creativity. I was also impressed by the team's cost-effective solution. I found Bangluxor's price reasonable, and the team took into account the initial design I provided to lower the quote. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn't identify areas of improvement for Bangluxor; they understood what I needed and completed the job.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I advise clients to keep clear communication of what they need for the website because Bangluxor is very receptive to their client's comments. Bangluxor makes things happen, but if clients don't communicate, the team won't know their targets.
