I was the Senior Product Manager at Zesty.ai when I worked with Atom6. Zesty.ai offers insurers and real estate companies access to precise intelligence about every property in the United States. The company uses AI, including computer vision, to build a digital twin for every building across the country, encompassing 200 billion property insights accounting for all details that could impact a property’s value and associated risks, including the potential impact of natural disasters.

For what projects/services did your company hire Atom6 Studio?

We hired Atom6 to design our web application and our website. Both the app and website were browser based, but worked on mobile devices.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched Upwork and referrals for the best designers. We then interviewed the top applicants. After that, we did a second round of interviews with Atom6 and one other design agency. We ended up picking Atom6 due to their portfolio, high attention to detail, and can do attitude in the interview.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

There were two projects assigned to Atom6. One was the web app, and the other one was our website. Atom6 worked directly with our Head of Marketing and myself on the website. We would give Atom6 the vision, CTAs, copy, and content we needed, and Atom6 would create the website. You can check out the website at www.zesty.ai.

Atom6 was also tasked with creating our web app for our customers. I would write a PRD, what the user flows and tasks flows were for the customer, what was the pain points were for the customer, and an explanation of the software they used. Atom6 then visualized those flows to make sure they understood it correctly, and started working on low fidelity wireframes.

Gui and I would iterate on the low fidelity wireframes until I thought they were correct, and then we moved to high fidelity wireframes. We would iterate on the high fidelity wireframes and then show them to customers to get their feedback. After we felt good about them, the engineering team would start building it. Gui was always available on Slack or video call to answer any questions the engineers had.

My team worked directly with Gui, one of the founders of Atom6.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are extremely happy with the success of the website and the web app. Our customers love our web app, and it has increased our revenue. The work quality was excellent, the designs were beautiful, and the web app was great in usability. The website is beautiful and drives conversions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Gui was very easy to work with. We would communicate over Slack and Figma, and at any time we would set up ad hoc video calls if we needed to discuss something in person.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was blown away with the breadth and depth of their skills. They were able to work on a marketing website, web app, design both for mobile, create a brand and style guide, and make the user experience awesome. It's very hard to find great full stack designers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. Great team!

We looked for design studios at Google, and after seeing 3 proposals, we decided to go after Atom6 because of their impressive portfolio, amazing background, and the great cost benefit relation.

Atom start the project with a immersion meeting, were we met their project team, and give all our references, project expectations and desires. 3 days later we had the kickoff meeting, and by then weekly meetings to track the project evolution. All the process was flawless and we get at the final result very fast.

My Main contact point was their Project Manager, also a Project Assistant. Besides them, 2 seniors designers worked in our project.

The result was great, they delivered the project 100% in time, and the look and feel was amazing, our application looks very awesome now.

Flawless, Daily basis communication and feedback, without any problems.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality and look of their job, they put a "WOW factor" at the design that is unique, they made something really beautiful, that was easily coded afterwards.

Things could always be done faster, but they ensure the delivery on the expected time with a great quality.

Atom6 is a long-term partnership that created and developed a lot of projects for our group. High quality and commitment are the key factors for working with them.

The team at Atom show us the complete scope and the project manager started the activities. After that, we have around 6 meetings until the end. All steps work well all the time.

They delivered the project in a timely manner and with quality. Nothing to say but awesome job!

These guys know what they're doing. They were focused on details, speed, and a unique aesthetic eye.

Communication works, but can be better.

The website always was a pain for Lideranca. We decided to hire experts this time, and since the first contact, Atom6 was super professional. They started with a briefing to understand our needs, then showed us some screens that we loved. All the development was super fast and all they respect all deadlines.

4 or 5 professionals, I don't remember yet. A project manager, a sales executive, a CTO and the account manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The number of access to the website has increased by over 500% since we change. The percentage of lead conversion increases as well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Works well. We need 1~2 weeks to 100% understand the Atom6 process, but after that, things happen smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We just gave them very little direction and they came back with amazing designs in no time. I've worked with dozens of agencies over the decades and Atom6 is at the top. Hire Atom6 for any project requiring eye-catching, well-organized web pages or other graphic design.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We don't have any chance to contact directly the designers and or developers, so maybe this is a point of attention that can improve the work.
