 Our company is a regional cargo transport company that specializes in transporting liquid asphalt, petroleum crude oil, anhydrous ammonia and other liquid petrochemicals to various customers.

• We wanted to replace our outdated website with something that reflects our scale and safety focus. The old site was difficult to update, slow on mobile, and didn’t give prospective drivers or customers a clear way to reach us. The objective was a full rebuild that would give us a professional presence online, integrate driver application forms, and make it easier for internal staff to manage content without calling IT every time.

They basically rebuilt our entire site from the ground up. We moved off the old template we’d been dragging along for years and into a custom WordPress setup that fits our business better. The main things they delivered were new service pages that explain what we haul, a driver application form that ties straight into our HR process, a request-a-quote form for shippers, and an interactive map that shows our coverage area. They also migrated our existing content, cleaned up the structure so it’s easier to navigate, and trained our staff on how to keep it updated without calling them every time. On top of that, they set up Google Analytics so we could actually track what’s happening.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The mobile load time dropped from several seconds to under two, and driver applications through the website increased. Our rate request form began generating steady leads within the first month. Internally, my team can now update routes, terminals, and safety materials without waiting on outside help, which saves both money and time. Most importantly, the site looks credible to customers who don’t know us yet and want to see if we’re a serious carrier.

They managed the project in phases, starting with mockups, then development, then content migration. Each step had a clear deadline, and they met them. When we asked for changes like adjusting fields on the driver application or re-ordering our Services page they turned them around quickly and explained what impact those edits would have. Communication was straightforward: weekly calls plus access to a staging site where we could check progress.

 They understood that compliance and safety aren’t just buzzwords for us but core to how we operate, and they built the site so those aspects are visible. The training sessions they ran with our staff also stood out we didn’t just get a new site; we got the knowledge to keep it updated ourselves.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Arobase Technologies could have done differently?

I wouldn’t change a thing about the experience. The new website has been a game changer for us, and I’d gladly work with Arobase again on future projects.

• Our old website had become clunky and didn’t really show our products the way we wanted. Customers kept emailing us about things that should have been clear on the site, like sizing or fit. We wanted a cleaner site that looked good but also made it easier for people to shop without needing help from us.

Arobase basically rebuilt the whole site. They redesigned the product pages, added clearer specs, better navigation and filters, and even set up a proper warranty and repair form which has been a big help for our support team. They also migrated our catalogue into the new system and helped us get the analytics set up properly so we could see how people were using the site. At the end they gave us training and documents so we weren’t left stuck.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main thing is we get fewer repetitive questions. People can see the info they need without having to email us. The warranty form also made it easier to keep track of issues. And honestly, the site just feels quicker and smoother now, especially on mobile, which our old site didn’t handle well.

They kept things moving. We had a clear plan at the start and they stuck to it. A couple of times we asked for changes, and they adjusted without making a big deal of it. Communication was straightforward  regular calls and updates so we knew what was happening.

I like that they care about the customer journey, not just the design. They didn’t try to give us something flashy that didn’t work. The training they gave at the end was also better than I expected, which made the handover smooth.

There were a couple of small issues with checkout for international orders right after launch. It wasn’t a huge deal and they fixed it quickly, but it would’ve been nice if it was caught in testing.

They also set up space for testimonials and gave us different design drafts to review before launch.

Not long after the site went live, we noticed more people filling out the form and calling us directly from the website. A few even mentioned finding us online and saying the site was “easy to use,” which told us it was working.
