For what projects/services did your company hire Applover Software House? We hired Applover to develop a website with a WooCommerce module that will help us manage our restaurant services, orders. It allows us to work faster and in a more efficient way deliver requested services for our clients and sports fans. 

Our main goal was to develop a functional website that provides all of the necessary information for our clients and handles clients’ reservations, which were a crucial functionality and the clue of the whole concept. Moreover, the ecommerce and exposition of the unique assortment of Nine’s were one of the aims for this project. We wanted the design to reflect our brand’s image. The digital product will make our work easier, which will automate it in several areas.

The website composes of several modules such as an event calendar, shop, blog (Nine’s News), restaurant, sports bar and fan zone areas. It is informational but also allows customers to book a table, see what are the upcoming events, read about the idea behind our place, and contact the staff. From a more technical point of view, it is built on WordPress. The events are created using The Events Calendar plugin (PRO version), and tickets are added to book events thanks to The Event Tickets plugin (the PRO version).

WooCommerce supports the store and payment for events, the ability to add events to the cart. Locomotive Scroll is a JS library, which is responsible for the smooth effect when scrolling the page. What is more, we introduced the animations with the parallax effect that enhance the image of our brand. All sliders are supported by the SwiperJS library. In the project, we used Bootstrap v4.5.

Bobrowski i Wspólnicy sp. k. based in Wrocław operates in the field of comprehensive handling of cases at the stage of court and enforcement proceedings, acting primarily for the needs of the Alektum Group's debt collection process. I'am the CTO of the EKO-LOGIS, a company that offers disposal of waste and debris in containers, as well as sells and purchases the aggregates.

Due to the structure of the company and the division of roles of people working in it, the project actually consisted of two parallel and connected digital products. One of them is a desktop application. Its users are mainly shippers/logisticians planning the daily work of the entire fleet. Their duties include contact with the customer, contact with drivers, order handling, route planning, control of the efficient execution of orders and many more. Modules for accounting and BDO service have also been added to the application, thanks to which, apart from shippers, it can also be used by other employees.

The second project is a mobile application aimed at the company's drivers. The application is a kind of link between drivers and shippers. This means that in the application, the driver can find all the courses, in other words, the tasks to be completed on a given day. In addition to the tasks, all the data and information needed for their implementation are also included. The application also implements navigation to facilitate travel and minimize the need to switch between applications.

The team consisted of a Project Manager, a Back-end Developer, 2 Front-end Developers, an Android Developer, QA Specialist, and 2 UX/UI Designers.

The developed applications allow us to work faster and much more efficiently which was our main goal. We are able to reduce costs and optimize our schedules, routes for maximum outcomes.The Applover team was always ready on Slack to solve problem, hear our suggestions or fix bugs.

I’m impressed that our ideas were sometimes really hard to implement or changed the current project significantly, but after all they did it very well. The project works fast, uses modern technologies and our team is very pleased from cooperation with Applovers. On the other hand, despite the high quality, the general quotation of the project match the market standards.

From the customer point of view our cooperation was highly efficient, so I can’t point any particular issue for improvement.

I am the Technology and Strategy Director at Cadi59. We aim to bring golf club professionals and golf club members closer together by giving them a platform to interact on a level that is essential in today’s world.

Club professionals will understand their members from the click of a button, giving them the ability to achieve multi-channel sales. Members will be able to use Cadi59 to communicate with their club professionals to book lessons, make purchases and much more. They will also have a one-stop-shop for managing their game, after all, that is what a Cadi is there for.

We hired Applover to develop a mobile app and a web application, that would help bring our Cadi59 vision to life. A platform for helping both club professionals and club members.

Our main goal was to develop functional MVPs of mobile and web applications, test them with users, collect feedback and develop the digital products further. We want to create one product that will allow golfers to enjoy their passion in a more advanced, digitalized way.

The project was divided into the development of mobile and web applications.

The mobile app is for use by club members and is the recipient of what was created by the club owner in the web part. Mobile users can:

• have access to the dashboard with the most important information
• see what teachers are available in the club and they can send a lesson request to selected teachers
• have access to the news feed - replenish the equipment and goals
• have access to offers from the club and can submit their interest in a given offer
• create an equipment wishlist
• check the status of the golf course (the one that is set on the web by the manager).

The web app serves as a system for managing the entire golf club. The users of the app are to be managers or owners of these clubs. They can, inter alia:

• accept/reject requests from mobile users (club members) to be added to the club
• create offers for users that will appear in the mobile application
• set the status of the golf course, i.e. what conditions prevail (rain, dry, wet, you can drive carts, etc.)
• add golf teachers in the club and manage requests for lessons from mobile users - create posts and news feed (news and articles about the life of the golf club)
• create a list of e-commerces recommended by the club.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team managed to deliver the digital products within the deadline, the MVPs look and function properly, we are now ready to test the applications with users. The workflow between us in the UK and Applover in Poland was effective, despite the distance.

We managed to collaborate remotely, we communicated on Slack, and from time to time we had w demo calls when we could see the progress and ask questions, clarify what needed to be done. Moreover, we could track tasks on Jira, as all of our communication with the Applover team was in English.

Development was completed using the SCRUM methodology with 2 week sprints. Applover managed this process and I would attend Sprint reviews to provide any feedback on the development.

Our project was to design and develop a responsive web application dedicated for mobile devices (PWA). We wanted the design to be modern and intuitive. After all of the mockups of individual screens were approved, the development process started.

What was the team composition?

We worked with 2 developers, Project Manager, UX/UI designer, and a QA Specialist.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design met our needs, it aligned ideally with our vision. The application looks and functions even better than we expected. We’re highly satisfied with the outcome and our cooperation with Applover. With our new app, we are able to promote our solution more effectively and share our idea of smart prints across the world.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

After the workshops, which helped us make our concept a project with all the necessary functionalities, we worked remotely and the Applover team managed to do everything that was expected from them through online consultations, calls, emails, Slack messages. All designs were designed in Figma so wet could easily access them and provide the necessary feedback. The Project Manager was highly communicative, engaged, and professional.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Applover team delivered the functional product within the deadline. They advised us on some of the most important matters and shared their knowledge and market experiences with us. They were helpful and highly-engaged in our project from the start to the end.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Our cooperation went smoothly. The application was delivered within the deadline and at the estimated cost. The team was highly communicative, and we were always informed of what they’re working on at every stage of the project. We appreciated that they listened carefully to our needs and feedback.
