Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the senior marketing communication specialist for a SaaS solutions provider in the automotive parts industry. I manage a lot of our public relations, branding, and culture for the company worldwide.
What challenge were you trying to address with adMind?
We had acquired a couple of companies over the last couple of years that grew us into becoming an international company. We had some growing offices in Krakow, Poland.
In order to promote ourselves as a top employer in the region, we knew that we needed to launch some branding efforts so that people would recognize who we were. We didn’t have any in-depth knowledge of the culture nor the people so we needed to find an agency to help us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
adMind put together a plan to launch city-wide posters and an animated video that was played in the city center. They also helped us launch a social media campaign for Facebook. In terms of the campaign, it was organic.
What is the team composition?
We worked with three people from their team.
How did you come to work with adMind?
I searched for marketing agencies in the area. We tried to consider some referrals from employees, but we weren’t getting too far with that. We came up with a handful of agencies that we had reached out to, spoken to, or had initial consultations with.
adMind stood out for a couple of different reasons. They have more of a global footprint. They had offices in other countries so we knew that would be helpful as we continued to grow, but they were headquartered in Krakow as that was our main focus at that time.
Also, there was positivity in our initial meeting — they were welcoming and helpful. They were passionate, and you could see that in our conversations.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project began in March 2019, and the work is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s still too early in the campaign to have any specific metrics. However, from an experience standpoint, they’re fantastic. They have been extremely responsive, always getting back to us in less than 24 hours. They never dropped the ball on any deadlines nor were they ever late to a meeting. They were always on top of everything.
Also, they are very proactive — especially with the social media campaign. They send us the plan a month in advance to be approved so that it is scheduled and in place. They are extremely receptive to feedback and constructive criticism.
How did adMind perform from a project management standpoint?
We enjoyed working with them so much on the Krakow project, that we have actually brought them in on an Indian project. We really enjoyed the experience with them. They’re timely and easy-to-work-with partners.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are thorough from start to finish. They never scale back at any point. Sometimes you sign up with a vendor and they are really enthusiastic in the beginning, but it tapers off. They have never lowered their enthusiasm, their passion, nor their dedication.
They have always been responsive and diligent with deadlines. They hold us extremely accountable for that and they follow up with us on a regular basis so we are always comfortable with the plan and how things are going.
The best part about them is their responsibility. We know that when we work with them, nothing is going to fall through the cracks and that the job is going to get done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not really. We’re not the easiest clientele to work with and they still worked with us extremely well. We weren’t a global company before we started our partnership with them. They helped us get used to working with counterparts around the world on Skype. We would have technical issues with Skype, and they always had a backup plan.
There was one hiccup when it took a little longer to get a quote for India, but I am 100% certain that the issue was no fault of theirs. They struggled with getting the quote from the different marketing mediums out there. That’s one of the learning curves with working with other countries, but they’re incredibly adaptable and resilient.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
To get the most out of the partnership, be as responsive as they are. They work at a very fast pace and keep projects moving. You are doing yourself a disservice when you are the bottleneck of the process.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the e-commerce manager at Gopher Sports. We’re a provider of high-quality PE athletics and fitness equipment. I’m in charge of our five different web domains, managing their analytics to assist our marketing and product teams.
What challenge were you trying to address with adMind?
Since we don’t have an analyst team for marketing or e-commerce, the team at adMind acts as our analytics experts, setting up reports and reading through data.
What was the scope of their involvement?
adMind acts as an arm of our small digital team. We have customized reporting for each of our five brands using Google Analytics data. We also have an executive dashboard built in Google Data Studio. After our weekly calls, their team sends the reports to our leadership team, who monitors the health of our website.
We often have the brand managers sit in on our weekly calls, asking a range of questions. Recently, through mirroring our Google Analytics data with our Oracle data, we could see which customer class was coming through in each channel. We’re spending a lot on page shopping now, but discovered it’s heavily based on the consumer when we want more from businesses and schools.
If there’s a sticky part in the funnel, they install tracking, perform QA testing, and write our dev requests. Even though they provide a lot of information to us, we ultimately come up with our own conclusion of where to proceed.
What is the team composition?
We work with Stephanie (Director of Analytics, adMind) and Michael (Co-Founder, adMind).
How did you come to work with adMind?
I wasn’t here when they were vetted, but our company looked at a handful of agencies. adMind was relatively new at the time but wasn’t the cheapest option. Our VP of marketing selected them because they felt they were worth the spend.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $150,000–$200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with adMind started in 2015.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Before engaging with adMind, we had no Google Analytics reporting, but now we have a sophisticated tracking system. Having an executive resource that pulls the correct data from five different properties is huge. Their team does all of the legwork for us, even setting up funnels.
We truly value adMind as a team of experts. Now that they’re familiar with our business, their team quickly gets to the bottom of things and provide suggestions. They’re currently developing a proprietary software that’s in the beta stages, but we hope to be involved in it.
How did adMind perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they’re excellent. They use Wrike to keep our tasks aligned, but we also have a monthly project list. They’re proactive, keeping an open line of communication for us. When they provide suggestions, they let us know the benefits in a lingo everyone internally can understand.
While we don’t use them for PPC, Stephanie is an expert in that field. We often come to her with questions that she happily answers. They’re also helpful when it comes to managing our budget with monthly goals. Their team would alert me if we were in danger of going over budget.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re a smaller business in Minnesota that enjoys doing business with similar companies. The team at adMind dedicates their time to know their customers, tailoring their efforts to fit their needs. I love that about them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re offering new services, which is exciting. We’ve been asking them to start monitoring the health of our site to find any anomalies that are hard to uncover. That was the one thing that was lacking, but it won’t be for long.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Put in the effort, especially when it comes to the weekly calls. Our team is dedicated to being prepared to get the most out of it. Go and use their beautiful reports to get your money’s worth.

When we started, we had no real KPI's set in place for our marketing analytics. Our goals were to get those up and running with successful PPC campaigns and structure our tracking parameters. The overall scope of the initiative was technical audits, strategy, implementation, and then continuous project management. Admind has helped shape the quality of applications we receive and also helped structure how our leads are sourced to focus on true ROI.

I normally worked with 2-3 people on the team and for the most part it has been the same people throughout the process. They have grown along side our company as well so with growth comes change and everyone I have worked with has been exceptional at their joob.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our applications have increased significantly and our brand awareness has increased by almost 50%. On top of that we have been able to identify low performing campaigns and lead acquisition sources to cut costs.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between us has been easy and effective. We meet biweekly to discuss current campaign status' and any projects we have going on the side. Admind is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and trustworthy!

I've worked with AdMind on previous projects and knew that they had the tech expertise and marketing understanding to know how to fix ad tracking issues that the client's tech team couldn't fix.

The client had a checkout site that was built by a dev team that was incompetent and unhelpful in getting conversion tracking set up. They also wouldn't give us access. adMind swooped in like knights and did a screen share session with them directing them step by step to fix it.

The tracking is working within two weeks and has been working ever since!
