National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15. The 30-day period celebrates the cultures, histories, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, Central & South America, and the Caribbean.

Under President Lyndon Johnson, observation first began as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968, but was expanded and enacted into law in 1988. 

According to the US Census Business Survey, there are more than 300,000 Latinx-owned businesses in the United States. 

Clutch is a leading B2B ratings and reviews platform that focuses on highlighting the top-performing companies in various industries. To be considered for Clutch’s certification program, racial minority-owned businesses:

  • Must be at least 51% owned by a minority group member
  • Subjected to a video if without a previous third party certification
  • May be subjected to an additional proof of identification

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we reached out to our recipients to hear about their experiences.
