I’m the CEO of Eduplay Soluciones, an edtech startup.

We needed support to develop our website, backend, and mobile apps.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Zapp Studio has developed our native Android and iOS apps and a web app for our clients. Initially, we had a clear idea of how the app should work, so we created a briefing that Zapp Studio has used to develop the complete solution. Zapp Studio also provides UI/UX design services, offering us 2–3 different designs.
Regarding the app's functionality, it's a parental control app for kids. If kids want to play their favorite games, they have to read. Every time they read a chapter of a book, they can go to our app and ask questions about the chapter they've read. They will receive more or less time to play games depending on the correct answers.
Moreover, our app can work in multiple languages; we only need to introduce the translated phrases.
What is the team composition?
We've mainly worked with two project managers. When we need to talk to an iOS or Android developer, we hameetith them to clarify some points.
How did you come to work with Zapp Studio?

Once the grant from the Ministry of Culture was received, the contract was signed, and the app and backend project were designed in wireframe in January 2023. The first tests for both the app and the control panel were carried out in March 2023. Once approved, the app was launched in stores Android and IOS in June 2023.

Strong adoption: more than 1,000 registered users in the first year. The app is still active today and growing in number of registered users. Furthermore, we continue to developing it for updates.

We needed help developing our backend, improving our AI, and connecting the APIs of the systems we worked with to give the AI voice agents a service.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Zapp Studio has helped us develop our software, including the front- and backend. They've also helped us with AI development and improvement. To test the front- and backend, we've had to evaluate the recordings of the calls, the transcriptions, and what's happening with them.
The team has helped us with the LLM models, voice synthesizers, API integrations, and the front- and backend software. We've managed together the kind of voices, the quality, and the languages. We've also worked on call transfers and integrating virtual agents with other virtual agents.
We've been able to make complex systems using the software we've made. We've supplied WhatsApp, chatbots, and websites with voice integration. We manage inbound calls and attend to our end clients' customers, receiving meetings and trying to give them the correct answer.
We also make marketing actions where we call our clients' customers. Wecreatee campaigns like selling a gym membership. We invite them to test the gym for three days for free. After that, we call them again and ask if they're interested in having a promotion for three months.
We also make calls for marketing or to remind customers of their appointments. We've integrated APIs for many projects, including Salesforce, a company for restaurants and bars, medical software, dental companies, and a locker company that can lock your luggage when traveling.
Zapp Studio has also helped us with data collection and training models. They use TensorFlow, OpenAI, and PyTorch. The team is also responsible for post-implementation support, monitoring, and optimization.

We're in contact with 12–16 teammates from Zapp Studio. We have three AI developers dedicated to us.

I heard very good references of Zapp Studio developing AI in the past, when I was working for another company in Barcelona. My project manager at the time found them.

Zapp Studio excels at meeting deadlines and staying on budget. We've done around 40 different projects, and they've consistently been on time and on budget. If we're going to have a delay, Zapp Studio informs us in advance.
They're great at project management and technical capacity. We use Jira, Asana, Trello, GitHub, and Basecamp. We also use Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace to create environments where things are in the same place and are always accessible.

Zapp Studio is very confident and hardworking. They always have a smile and a pleasant environment in which to work. The team likes challenges and achieves their goals. They're always available; I can call the owner on Saturdays and Sundays. We work a lot during weekends.
