Cubane Solutions AB was in need of a virtual team which can support our clients technology needs. Zackriya Solutions were engaged by Cubane to setup a virtual team for our client and manage the virtual offshore team. This helps us manage our client business with minimal cost, minimal supervision and was extremely effective during the course of pandamic

The Zackriya Solutions management team was very driven. Zackriya Solutions was very cost effective. They was very efficient in setting up the virtual team and was very committed towards the stringent timelines.

The project was to on board virtual team of 10 members to support our client implementation of Oracle financials system. It was hard for the client to secure the niche skill resources onsite. The virtual team was set up by Zackriya Solutions. The employees got trained and were productive from the first week

The virtual team set up was done phase by phase. The candidates were identified and short listed from extensive search and from a vast resource pool. First level screening and filtering being done by Zackriya solutions. Second level technical interview is being conducted by Cubane Solutions AB. Third level of interview is being conducted by client. Once selected by the client the offer is released by Zackriya Solutions

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The engagement with Zackriya Solutions enabled Cubane Solutions AB to showcase the capacity of Cubane to setup a virtual team with niche skills with a short of time and in a given budget. The cost was reduced more than 60% for the client.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow with the team was very smooth and effective. The teams collaborated from across the world using Microsoft tools. Zackriya solutions facilitated the communication between employees and Cubane solution AB.

Zackriya solutions commitment towards delivery and their cost effectiveness. The virtual team was setup with in a short span of time and given budget. They are very transparent and good at communications

What challenge were you trying to address with Zackriya Solutions?

I needed their expertise in custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zackriya Solutions used Python to build a database processor to help automate our operations. Their team migrated big data and files from our extensive real estate database, and they put everything together and filtered out any unused files. The information was condensed from millions of lines to about 5,000, and everything was then integrated into the simplified database system.

After their data processing and development work, Zachriya Solutions provided maintenance services by addressing any issues to make sure that the platform remained functional and seamless.

My main point of contact was Sandeep (Founder & CEO), and I also worked with their programmers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Zackriya Solutions’ work optimized our operations — what used to be a two-month-long data gathering process was cut down to 1–2 days, which was a huge improvement that saved us time, money, and effort.

How did Zackriya Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated daily to discuss the project flow. Zackriya Solutions was a communicative and proactive partner that delivered quality results within my budget range. We had to adjust our timelines a little bit, but that was on my end, and it didn’t really affect the overall progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had the willingness to listen to my actual needs — their thorough understanding of my requirements allowed them to come up with creative solutions that addressed those.

I got everything I needed, and there weren’t any areas that needed improvement.

Elakon Inc has been providing Software Development and Quality Assurance services for companies in the Boston Area since 2006. I founded the company in 2006 after working 10 years in the Telecom industry and seeing that companies needed the ability to work with companies who can provide quality services when they can't find resources. I have worked with various companies to assist me with my efforts and vet all of the people who are representing Elakon.

For what projects/services did your company hire Zackriya Solutions, and what were your goals?

Zackriya Solutions was a partner on a project that Elakon was brought in in to support a team in the US that was designing a class 3 medical device. Zackriya supported development of Unit Tests for multiple components of the product as hardware was not readily available. One of the major projects was to port the entire UI of the product to the windows platform as well as design an automated test system to test the GUI. This allowed for quick design of the GUI as hardware wasn't needed until system test. The GUI automation testing was used in the continuous integration cycle to quickly find issues in the code.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was referred to Zackriya Solutions. Upon interviewing the team they had the skill set I required.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

For automated test tools and GUI porting to windows, the Zackriya Solutions team went through the entire development life cycle.  The took a prototype developed by Elakon for our end customer and designed the requirements documents, overall architecture of the product, through development, test, and validation.  Since most of my clients over the past few years are medical device companies the quality standards need to be very high and follow IEC 62304.

The GUI application was designed in C since the embedded device was developed in C.  The team designed a way to simulate multiple subsystems.  The GUI test harness was written in python and interfaced with the GUI application as well as the subsystems interfaces to allow for simulating real looking events as well as the ability to get near full automation coverage.  The tools used OCR and image recognition to aid in the automated testing.

Unit testing was done by the team as well to get 100% Unit test coverage which was mandated by the quality requirements of the company.   Zackriya Solutions rapidly understood the code, developed unit tests in C using ceedling and recommend chages to the software where needed.  If unit testing of the client's code was not possible, then the code was poorly written and Zackriya redactored the code to make it more testable.

I worked with 4 people at Zackriya:

• A principal developer who managed the team as well as developed in C for the embedded device. 
• A principal-level hardware engineer who worked on hardware design and embedded C.
• A senior python engineer who designed the test harness
• A junior python engineer who wrote tests for the automated tool and tested the tool

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I think the team deliverer quality work and always delivered on time.  In fact they made Elakon look great for my client as my team was the only team to consistently meet sprint dates and demos.

I would meet daily Teams meets with the Zackriya team.  Zackriya broke up the work into small enough chunks that they were able to deliver and show results dialy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team was always wanting to learn about giving better results to the customer (my clients).  I'm impressed because I've had or heard about bad experiences using teams based in India.  Zackriya doesn't have the churn you see in a lot of Indian companies so the team works well together.

I think they did a great job on the project and I'll be looking to engage them again once the project starts up agian

Zackriya was tasked with building a cloud-connected battery monitoring system POC. The project needed hardware/software integration with our battery and BMS, customized Raspberry Pis with various communication HATs, and front- and backend development.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• We were able to successfully demonstrate our software to users, resulting in product validation. That testing also enabled us to win a Department of Energy "extraordinary pilot" cash prize.
