I am Business Development Manager. I am working with clients all over the world to provide possible solutions and expertise.

For what projects/services did your company hire WOP lab, and what were your goals?

We had Figma designs and needed to convert them into a well-functioning product for our business needs. We ordered a project to develop an e-learning website from scratch, completely by their team, from technical solution to implementation.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our partner recommended WOP lab as a new team for cooperation, as reliable and responsible people, he provided contacts and at one of the meetings we were introduced to each other.

The project was from scratch and it was required a smooth and productive collaboration between the teams and constant communication. We shared design in Figma and WOP lab company provided all the development including IT expert team, technical solution, support and consultations needed.

We had an initial idea and a design that we were helped to convert into a high-tech project with custom solutions by this team of professionals. We entrusted them with the complete work and also the writing of technical documentation, and also in the process of work, when we had ideas about additional functionality, they helped us with the implementation.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We applied at the stage when we had a ready design and we lacked skilled and experienced developers, we made the right choice and here's why! The most important feature for our “Programming courses” website was to enable interactive presence, namely to empower students and teachers in online interaction.

Thus was created a possibility for users to participate in the courses through their account, each user has his/her own accounts, with questionnaires, statistics, admin has a dashboard with ability to assign tasks, prepare all teaching materials, including video, also users can participate in online meetings with the teacher, ask questions and admin (teacher) can record videos and share to the students. The website generates PDF certificates after the completion of courses.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Communication took place between us and WOP lab project manager, who provided us with updates on the process, and we also had regular demos and meetings with the developers and the manager.

This gave us the opportunity to clearly understand the stages of the project and the fact that the project manager clearly outlined the work plan, prepared all the necessary documentation, and allowed us to plan when to expect the completion of one or another part of the project. We used Slack to communicate with the team, as well as Git, and Trello for tasks, and we had calls via zoom.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team was very professional, they had a well-developed approach working with new clients, providing them the best solution and support on each stage. We clearly knew at what stage the project was, what scope of work had already been done and when the delivery date would be.

This is a merit not only of highly qualified developers but also of good management. We were also impressed by the speed of work, the ability to find simple solutions to complex problems and select effective ways of implementation.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At the time of our cooperation, everything suited us and we do not see what could be done better.

Developement of a Marketplace website. The goal was to have up & running website, stable, permormant and implemented according to our design mockups.

Work was implemented in iterations using Scrum. There were a lot of features implemented, including various forms, redesign of a website, dynamic load of content, performance optimization, etc.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Many key features were implemented which allowed us to establish a marketplace website with database of several thousands of products with well-looking design.

We worked directly with the developer using Scrum. Communication was great, everything was implemented in time and valuable suggestions were given to us proactively. Communication tools: Jira and Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything was on a high level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As it always happens in developement there were some minor bugs, but nothing critical and everything was detected and fixed during testing phase.
