We started our project with the team at Wildcat to maintain and then improve upon our search rankings after a period of limited site updates and falling traffic/search rankings. The scope was to: 

• Embed a keyword first approach to generating blog topics 
• Improve technical SEO in the site structure
• Identify and go for backlink opportunities where relevant 
• Improve our local visibility in the marketplace 
• Reorganise content around our key personas buying stage

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within the duration of the project, some months delivered great visit increases through their content and structure suggestions. This included a 70% increase in organic traffic in one month. Historic organic traffic has remained consistently higher than it was pre-partnership.

Matt and later Molly were both excellent with their project management style. I felt confident that they were working on the agreed deliverables in the multi-month plan established (whether that was new blogs, keyword research, the delivery of reports). They were also readily available to answer any questions I had. I was able to organise calls when necessary or communicate over email knowing a response wasn't far away.

Personnel at agencies can be really make or break, and Wildcat's team are exceptional. Always able to answer my queries and have solid rationale behind why they go in the direction they do. They're also very up-to-date on the latest best practice and happy to share, having previous had conversations with the team about any new changes in the landscape that might better our own performance.

The NEBRC's target is to reach 11,460 SME's in the Yorkshire, North East and Humber areas, we approached Wildcat to help us reach this target through mainly SEO and PR strategies.

The website traffic is increasing and our monthly in person and virtual report meetings are demonstrating the progress of this project.

Molly has been excellent with her communication skills, nothing is ever too much trouble and she provides a clear roadmap every month with the months tasks/objectives. Molly is honest about keyword rankings and if there is a drop in traffic, she offers reasoning behind this and is always open to answer queries. It's also great to know that Will is overseeing the project as his knowledge has been really helpful.

Their attention to detail and effort put into their initial proposal before we had even committed to the company is what sets them apart from other agencies that we approached, and this has continued throughout us working together.

Now, all of our PPC campaigns are being run through Google Ads.

It is difficult to analyze this partnership’s success because we hadn’t done any campaigns prior to working with Wildcat Digital Ltd. Our current metrics are measured through the click-through rate and the number of conversions coming through.

Their team is good at meeting our deadlines and following timelines. Typically, we communicate through emails and phone calls.

We had a very basic Shopify site for a smaller part of our business. Unoptimized and looked very unloved. we asked Wildcat to take over and revamp the SEO and the overall look of the site to help it's performance.

Wildcat had been recommended to us. It was clear from their portfolio that they were up for the task.

I think in total I have spoken to four of the team there. The director and customer relationship manager. I briefly spoke to a copywriter but mainly my contact was with my account manager who specialised in development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Wildcat have delivered the main redesign project and the ongoing SEO monitoring and improvements with professionalism and in a way which works with us and our resources. We are already seeing a positive upturn in order value and quantity post re-design and we have been kept up to date with our rankings which has been both encouraging and reassuring.

Wildcat have been extremely patient with us. They are always very efficient at chasing us up and keeping us in the picture with progress or updates. Due to limited resources on our end they have had to be very self-lead and have been proactive with suggestions and support.

Wildcat are a personable team you can build a relationship with. They will take the time to properly understand your project and will ask the questions you wouldn't have thought of instead of just zooming through to get the job done. I felt cared about as a client, and they always made time for us when we needed their help.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have approached them about taking on a new large website build - the full scope of the project isn't something they feel is part of their remit. I hope they one day feel able to take on larger more varied projects. Finding another agency to work with who are as effective and personable as Wildcat is proving a challenge!

Historically, our sales process was mainly linked to word-of-mouth, repeat business and local networking and while this was, and still is successful, we knew that we could add real to a wider audience if we could improve our online presence. After a competitive tender process we hired Wildcat to help us optimise our SEO and website to help increase enquiries.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We undertook a competitive tender, looking at quality and cost as the two main factors. Wildcat scored highly on both but the deciding factor for us was their enthusiasm to help us achieve our goals. They researched our business, our sector and our target audience in advance of their pitch and presented a clear and targeted plan on how they could help; we're now six months into this plan and they've delivered each step of the way so far.

We knew very little of how SEO worked and so left a lot of the planning up to Wildcat. We simply set the end result we wanted to achieve and gave them the scope and flexibility to deliver against these targets.

It's still early in the partnership but the outcomes are on track with Wildcat's initial projections. Web traffic has increase, leading to more enquires, which in turn has allowed us to convert a number of new clients. These new clients have already paid for the initial support costs.
