What was the scope of their involvement?

Webtmize has been responsible for running our paid media channels, including both paid search and paid social on platforms like Google and Meta. They handle all campaign setup, strategy, and ongoing adjustments, though we make our creative assets.

Based on the team's suggestions, we create visuals and copy and send those to Webtmize. The team sets up the materials on the platforms of us, namely on Google, for example, YouTube, and Meta. We've also run ads on Pinterest, but stopped that.

During a transition period, Webtmize also managed our email marketing channel for several months until we filled the position in-house.

We primarily work with an account manager and a paid media specialist from Webtmize. Occasionally, the company owner joins for quarterly reviews, but our daily interactions are with the account manager and specialist.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've seen improved keyword performance for ads, increased site traffic, and boosted conversions. We've faced ups and downs during our long-term partnership with Webtmize, like the COVID-19 pandemic and tighter economic situations, but it has followed the e-commerce trends. And even when business is down, Webtmize's channel remains efficient, which speaks to their optimization ability.

For example, even with a 60% reduction in budget year-over-year, our sales are trending at -20%. We're limited by budget compared to last year, but not by Webtmize's ability.

How did Webtmize perform from a project management standpoint?

Webtmize consistently meets deadlines and stays on budget. We have used Trello in the past, but now most of our collaboration is through email, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team's availability and willingness to support and help us are impressive. Webtmize has rapid turnaround times, and they've been an excellent partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At one point, there was a team member who did not meet our expectations, but Webtmize listened to our feedback and replaced the person to ensure our satisfaction, showing how good listeners they are. Nonetheless, I don't see current opportunities, and we're satisfied with their service.

I recommend working with Webtmize. They're excellent collaborators. If we're still working with Webtmize after all this time, we're happy with them.

We promoted the various editions of our Festival on social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) as well as on targeted newspaper websites. This allowed us to increase the Festival’s reach, the number of ad clicks (10,761), ticket sales, and the reach of our advertisements, engaging a new audience (ad reach in 2024: 659,116 people).

We were able to provide our clients with high-quality marketing services, lowering their CPAs and helping meet their goals. They are able to increase our client’s traffic by up to 30x. 

Our return on ad spend has increased by up to 10x. Within the first month, traffic to the site jumped from 10,000 visits a month to 25,000 visits a month, and it has continued to grow from there.

How did Webtmize perform from a project management standpoint?

Webtmize is always ahead of schedule. They have good monthly reporting in place, we could receive a detailed document without prompting them. They were very professional. Our teams communicate via email and Google Hangouts.

They’re very honest and hard-working people who deliver great results. They are an amazing agency, one of the best I’ve worked with.

Their current team is very solid, but I see them growing from here. It will be interesting to see how they will grow their personnel as they continue to acquire more clients.

Communication is key. Abdo is very good at giving advice if you have no idea where you’re starting, but if you have something in mind, have a rough idea of what you want so he can best help you. He can build a plan or strategy from very little. Go in with an open mind.

I am the president of a martial arts studio in Canada called Chong Lee Taekwondo. We have been in business for over 55 years.

We needed to improve our web presence in terms of both organic traffic and lead generation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

There was already an existing website for our company when we brought them on, but they rebuilt it from scratch so that we could make a lot of necessary improvements both on the site and in its searchability on Google. From there, they worked on the site’s SEO, identifying and targeting specific keywords and audiences and creating content to help us rank better.

I’m not sure exactly how many people worked on the project, but there were 2–3 with whom I had regular contact and a few others helping with the technical work behind the scenes.

Another vendor that I had worked with dealt with them, and when I told him about this need, he gave them a very strong recommendation. Hearing it through word-of-mouth gave me a lot of trust in their abilities, so I decided to move forward with them from there.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

If you do a check for martial arts studios in Montreal, we are always the first result, so there’s not a lot more we can ask for when it comes their performance. The impact that it has had really shows any time I do a promotion or run ads for specific camps, because I get nearly three times the number of students I was getting before working with them from the same promotions.

I don’t track a lot of exact metrics, but I’m in the studio every day, and I’m able to physically see the impact it has on our business and the results we achieve as a result, so that has been the biggest sign of the value they’re delivering for me.

How did Webtmize perform from a project management standpoint?

They do an excellent job of managing the work and hitting all the deadlines that we give them for specific projects. Sometimes we even have to start running campaigns 3–4 months in advance of the actual event in order to get the best turnout that we can, and they have always been right there with us in those efforts and helping us stay on top of everything we need to do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The fact that they keep their word is the biggest benefit of the engagement for me. Today, there are too many people in business who are just trying to get numbers by any means necessary, and they don’t really care about your business. Webtmize will do what they say they are going to do 100% of the time, and that lifts a huge burden off my shoulders.

I really was more than satisfied with everything they did for me. I don’t have anything negative to say.

When I came into the business, they were going through a sale process to another business, so I was tasked with getting all of their marketing channels and digital coverage in a better state than it had been previously.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I was tackling a wide variety of digital marketing work with various organizations, including web design, content-based SEO, and paid advertising. The organization that we were working with before, however, was basically delivering no tangible results for the money that we were paying them, so I contracted Webtmize to take over that side of the project.

They started by conducting an SEO audit of the domains of the site, which were previously under several different names and were in the process of being consolidated. From there, they laid out some specific tasks that needed to be delegated internally and took over the SEO and ad placement for our site to try to boost our performance on SERPs in a variety of ways.

There were two leads for paid advertising, as well as two support members on the account.

We went through an RFP process with a few companies that had been recommended by colleagues in the US. Their team won, and that was how we started working together.

Within the first 30 days, we were able to double and triple the number of leads that we were getting and the quality of traffic through our site, so it was an easy sell to the business owners from there that we needed to really shift our focus in that direction.

I consider anyone reaching out to us for more information on a purchase a successful lead, so that is what we focus on, and that metric has proven to translate meaningfully to increased revenue over time.

How did Webtmize perform from a project management standpoint?

When I spoke to their team, I always found them to be incredibly accommodating. I don’t mean that he always did exactly what I wanted them to do, but rather that he heard what I said and added value where he could, based on the ways that his expertise complemented mine.

Their suggestions never felt like a sales pitch instead of just a realistic outline of what they could do, and that helped us to build respect together as a team from the beginning. I actually tried to work with their project manager ono multiple occasions after this partnership because she is so good at what she does.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One aspect I really appreciated was that you had senior members of their team working on your account, but they did a good job of incorporating their support staff into the day to day of the work as well. That way you got not only the direction and experience of the more seasoned team members, but you got the fresh ideas and energy of the younger teammates as well. The whole process was very collaborative and enjoyable to work through.

Alongside that, they spend enough time listening to their customers and trying to incorporate what you are asking for into the actual process, which isn’t something most agencies will do. Their team is willing to think outside the box to make sure that they can bring your vision to life rather than just creating any results in whatever way they can.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I really don’t have anything that I wish they had done differently in our work. Any time that I ever did provide feedback to them, they were more than willing to make those changes going forward, so it really was a pretty ideal partnership.

It’s really important to be clear about what value you bring to the table and how you want your identity to be perceived, but once you’ve done that you need to also be able to step back and let their team be good at what they do. The numbers will speak for themselves as to their success.
