I'm the owner and president of a company that distributes seeds to the farming industry in Ecuador. We were established over 65 years ago.

What challenge were you trying to address with Websults?

I needed someone to redesign my site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Websults has redone my entire website. They redesigned it and added some functionalities I needed. For example, they built a feature that allows customers to place an order through the site. The team also designed the site so customers will find us easily by adding a list of stores where they can find our products in South America. The website is in Spanish, which the team doesn’t speak, so they figured out a way to do the translations first. 

Then, the product design team went ahead with the design process, which they structured into three parts. The first thing they did was create a page about the history of our company. Afterward, they added a section explaining who we are as a company. Lastly, they’ve been working on how our products are displayed and promoted and added product descriptions. The last one is done on a particular schedule because we want to announce the product before putting the information on the site. 

I plan to ask them to add more features in the future, like a chat feature so customers can chat with us and ask us questions.

I work with two people, the owner and a designer, who works on the website. 

How did you come to work with Websults?

They did the website for my mother's business, which is how I found them. I interviewed many different vendors, and I was not too fond of how they worked with clients — they weren’t willing to work closely with me. Meanwhile, Websults was willing to work with me and invest time to help me come up with design ideas, so I chose them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2018, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Websults did a great job on my website. It looks lovely, and it has worked really well. It’s doing what we need it to do. We've successfully pushed people from Facebook to go to our site and review our products. It was also really successful with regards to promoting events until the COVID-19 pandemic happened. 

How did Websults perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great at deadlines, but I’m terrible at it. The team has had to stay on top of me to keep it moving forward, but they were also very patient. When I wasn’t able to complete something because I didn’t have the time, they helped me finish it. They’ve been very good at keeping timelines. The team is also very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Websults is just a fantastic team. They’re very good at helping us think up new ideas and putting those pieces together. When they encounter a complication, they find a way. Sometimes, the application they use to work on the design has some restrictions, but they find another way to do it if it doesn't work. They’ve been creative with finding workarounds, and we’ve always ended up succeeding in whatever goal we were trying to meet. Some of the other companies I worked with gave up when something similar happened, so I appreciate Websults’ efforts. I like working with them so much. The cost has also been very reasonable compared to their competitors.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they could do better. Everything I’ve asked them to do, they did well. It took a while for them to start the development process, but that was a flaw on my end. I wasn’t prepared and didn’t have the information they needed.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have an idea of where you want to go, what you want from them, and articulate your vision well. Without all that, the team wouldn’t be able to have anything to go from. Be organized and give as much information as you can upfront — it’ll help Websults get started on the site much quicker.

We had a website that was very old and dated, so Websults helped give it a new face. We were trying to create a website that would be engaging and sensitive to reach those that were seeking help.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We shared our vision for a page, and they gave us what we asked for, while also providing some keen insights that helped us to think beyond what we were initially considering.

In addition to building the new web page, they helped us with securing a payment platform for our store. Prior to our engagement with them, we had an existing website. They played a huge role in reconstructing it.

What is the team composition?

We worked primarily with two people: Austin (Web Developer) and Jonathan (Founder).  Austin processed changes that we would ask for and created a website page for a new prevention service.  Jonathan collaborated with Austin and also gave insights whenever we had questions. 

How did you come to work with Websults?

I heard about Websults through word of mouth. I was drawn to their integrity, honesty, and the wholehearted effort they put into their projects. They sounded like a team that we wanted to partner with.

How much have you invested with them?

Jonathan chose to not charge us since we’re a nonprofit without much of a budget. That blew our socks off and speaks volumes about his integrity.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in November 2019. The site was published in 30 days, so we ended our engagement in December 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Aside from the internal feedback, we also received feedback from the audience that we were interested in. Most gave good feedback, saying the site looked very current, was engaging, and user-friendly. I never felt uncomfortable asking a question since they were always very kind and gracious. It was a great relationship.

How did Websults perform from a project management standpoint?

Websults was very attentive to our needs and what we wanted to communicate through the platform. They followed up quickly on any changes or any edits that we shared with them. Usually, within a 24-hour period, we would have a response back from them along with solutions. 

They did excellent with the management. They were clear, prompt, and attentive to all of our needs and suggestions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their integrity is what stood out the most. If they said that they would do something, they did it better than what we expected.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There weren’t any shortcomings with them. We never had any bad experiences with the team.

Any advice for potential customers?

If you want to have a company that reflects the heart of your message, they are the ones.

I’m the director of operations of Amy's Attic Self Storage, a large-scale self-storage company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Websults?

Our company needed help with Google rankings; we wanted to be on page one of Google listings. We also wanted a consumer-friendly website. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Websults has done a complete redesign on our WordPress site and continues enhancing it. 

In terms of digital marketing, they’ve provided SEO services and run Google ads. The team has worked with us on various search engines and also does research and writes articles for our blogs. For our content marketing, we work with a collaborative approach to content. 

Every month we look at both the transactions the team provides through Google Ads and Google Analytics. We have an internal spreadsheet, where we look at those numbers each month.

I’ve worked with three different team members.

They were referred to by a friend in the storage industry. 

How much have you invested with them?

Our company has invested over $200,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started our engagement in June 2011, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

From a design perspective, the website is easy to navigate and its positioning on Google is top-notch. Every month, our page has been the first or second position on Google searches.

We’ve seen remarkable improvements every year in website traffic, leads, inquiries, and phone calls. 

How did Websults perform from a project management standpoint?

Websults is excellent at managing projects. I think they use HubSpot or something similar. We have a scheduled monthly meeting and touch base with each other periodically throughout the month. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Websults has wonderful customer care; their response to our requests has been amazing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything for them to improve.

Any advice for potential customers?

My advice for them would be to check out our website and see the design. If potential customers have any questions about the team’s results, they can call me.

Websults made a WordPress website for me, and they’re promoting that website through SEO campaigns. They’ve also taught me to set it up so I can maintain it myself. They handle website postings, and I consult them about updating and freshening up the website from time to time.

I work with Jon (Owner) and another person from their team.

How did you come to work with Websults?

I know Jon from Vanderbilt University, where he received his MBA. 

How much have you invested with them?

Upfront, I spent less than $5,000 when we started. Then, for periodic upgrades, I spend around $1,000 a year. This year, though, I’m spending another $3,000 for a more substantial upgrade. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Websults in May 2012, and the partnership is ongoing.

I’m very happy with their services. I often ask people when they call me how they heard about me, and they often mention the website.

How did Websults perform from a project management standpoint?

Websults has been good at meeting deadlines. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re responsive to multiple rounds of edits when I want to continue to tweak something. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can be more affirmative in reaching out to me and telling me their ideas. It’s always great when I come to them with my ideas, but it’s better if they also reach out with their own ideas about what they can do for me. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have an idea of what you like, and use that as a starting point instead of walking in completely blank. Websults will work better if you have that idea and point them in the right direction.

Curcio Dermatology is Nashville’s premier dermatologic surgery and skin rejuvenation center, providing outstanding medical care with professionalism and full attention to patient comfort. We provide the latest medical technology, the newest lasers and devices, and most current treatments in a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Green Hills. From skin cancer screenings to Botox to modern cosmetic skin treatments, Curcio Dermatology is experienced in both medical and surgical procedures. I am the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Websults, and what were your goals?

We were spending money on SEO but did not have a core strategy on how to drive more customers to our business. We have had a long relationship with Websults for web design and ecommerce so we decided to ask them about SEO management.

SOLUTION

How did you select Websults and what were the deciding factors?

Long term relationship; high integrity; value; outcomes; and customer service are all hallmarks of the Websults team.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

We were spending a good amount on SEO via Google and Microsoft. We had a strategy that was recommended by the search companies. We realized that it was working but the costs were going out of control for a small business. We reached out to Websults and they recommended taking over our SEO strategy.

We worked with them on what traffic we were trying to drive to our website and to our business. Over the course of several months we were able to lower our total spend (advertising + costs of using Websults is less than what we spent before), have a more cohesive strategy on SEO, attract more patients for the specific areas we focus on, and build a stronger local brand.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

10 out of 10! We couldn't be happier with Websults. We use them for our web development, SEO, and ecommerce solutions. We have been able to see significant ROI on the SEO project as we track every new customer and where / how they found us. We also track website visits. We added ecommerce after our SEO project and in a short 3 months have seen a 300% return on investment.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

Very collaborative and very focused on what the customer needs. That said, they also understand the online world very well - they have provided many ideas and thoughts on how we can increase our presence and drive volumes to our business. This has been great!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have an amazing attention to detail, incredible understanding of all things digital/web, and learn about the businesses they are helping. Most vendors are transactional and never learn about the companies they are helping - Websults is the opposite! Websults is one of the best companies I have ever worked with or seen.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing - fantastic team and great outcomes.
