Webake Design provides ongoing UI/UX design support for SalesQL under a staff augmentation model. Their team works fully integrated with our product, engineering, and support teams, participating in weekly meetings and collaborating directly through Slack. Each design task is delivered through JIRA tickets that include: 
Interactive prototypes and design files in Figma. 
 recorded video explanation of the design decisions and user flow. 
Detailed functional descriptions outlining how each feature should be implemented by the development team.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Today, SalesQL is used by over 50,000 active users every month, and one of the most frequently highlighted strengths in user feedback is the intuitive and well-designed interface.

Thanks to Webake’s thoughtful UI/UX work, our product offers a seamless experience that makes complex prospecting workflows easy to understand and execute. Their design system and user-centered approach have significantly improved user satisfaction, retention, and onboarding efficiency, contributing directly to the ongoing growth and success of SalesQL.

They deliver all tasks on time and manage their workload through a shared JIRA board that mirrors our own priority system. This ensures full visibility and coordination between both teams.

We also hold weekly priority review meetings to discuss upcoming work, adjust priorities when needed, and ensure that everyone stays aligned with our product roadmap. The team is highly responsive to our needs — always open to feedback, proactive in suggesting improvements, and quick to adapt to changes in scope or timelines.

What stands out the most about Webake Design is their ability to create interfaces that rival — and often surpass — those of companies with ten times more resources. Their designs are not only visually refined but also remarkably intuitive, making complex user journeys feel effortless.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Webake Design could have done differently?

After more than five years of collaboration, there have naturally been moments where we identified opportunities for improvement. However, Webake Design has always been open to feedback and highly flexible in adapting their processes and communication style.

Their willingness to listen, iterate, and adjust the way we work together has made it easy to continuously refine our collaboration. As a result, any challenges were quickly resolved, and the partnership has only grown stronger over time.

We needed help with UX design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We called Webake Design whenever we had work related to UX design. They helped us define user personas and made lots of suggestions and comments. The team shared insights on everything, including the B2B and B2C interfaces. They used Figma for the designs.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact was Emanuele, the co-founder and CEO, but we also worked with Laura, the co-founder and COO, Eze, the co-founder and CPO, and the product designer.

We had a large project that we envisioned with them.

The team was extremely helpful, and the designs received a good response. The team worked really well.

How did Webake Design perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was always on budget. The team was very diligent, and we were very happy with them. We communicated in various ways, including WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with their seriousness as a provider. They were a great professional team that was serious about time and deadlines. I'm very happy with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing we could come up with. The team was fast and always looked at the details, trying to work in our best interest.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure the scope of your project is well-defined. The team is very creative, so if you give them clarity, it’s easy for them to get lost in the creativity.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We brought in Webake Design to help with the UX design of an MVP game for children learning to read. They helped us define the main user flows and interactions, as well as the product’s initial information architecture. Together, we developed a low-fidelity version of the game for beta testing, which we also used during investment rounds.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was a great success. The most tangible outcome was the MVP of our product, which allowed us to easily test our value proposition with potential clients. Having a well-structured and straightforward first version also proved extremely valuable in our investment meetings, as it helped us communicate our idea more effectively.

They were highly efficient, had great communication, performed all required tasks in time and within budget.
