About: A unique all-in-one solution for car dealerships. It enables customers to assess their old vehicles for trade-ins, add extra services and rebates, purchase protection packages, and submit deals with the option to pay weekly, which is a unique approach for this type of transaction. The system automatically calculates weekly payments based on the initial cash down payment and the term of the deal, and it facilitates approval within the dealership service and by the banks. 

Scope of Work: We are currently working on upgrading the legacy solution, enhancing missing functionality, and replacing technologies and approaches with more modern ones. Additionally, we are integrating various external APIs to ensure that the entire car financing process is as digital, fast, and convenient as possible.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They have developed a widget for seamless integration with any online dealer service and automatic calculation of our weekly base payment for any offer. Additionally, they have fixed numerous errors in the old system as it was completely dysfunctional. 

Furthermore, they have created an MVP version that includes all the basic functionality and is integrated with multiple external systems, which can already be marketed as a solution or showcased to investors. In addition, they have completely rewritten the backend in Node.js, making it much more stable, and the system more optimized.

Their project management was highly organized and well documented with regular weekly communication and review of sprints and delivered on-time unless we added to the requirements. In cases where we added to requirements they were always flexible and completed the update scope work as agreed and on time and usually under the estimated hours. They were and remain very responsive to our needs.

As a design company, we don't have developers, so we usually ask our partners for help. VReal Soft is a software development company with who we work a lot on small projects. We have hired their team to complete the development of the web application Yoga Studio based on the design created by our team.

As usual, we had a call to discuss the project requirements and represent the UX/UI Designs. The VReal Soft team have prepared PRD documentation for the first rough estimate, after that we have moved to User Story Documentation development, to describe each page and feature in detail.

Once documentation was done, we selected .NET and React.JS technology, and build functional, database and entity relationships schemas. After the final estimate, we divided the project scope into several sprints and started the initial development.

VReal Soft have estimated that for Yoga Studio, will be required to have a team of 6 people.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the web application was build for Yoga Studio, our client got a huge feedback and new comers. Cause before the app he could only do a face to face classes, but via website, users can actually purchase classes and work online.

The project was on a fixed-price basis and managed by Agile. So the whole project was divided into 3 sprints, each sprint was about 3 weeks long. We had a weekly call where the project manage could do demo and show the results. Also, we had access to JIRA where the team were progressing with their tasks, for communication we used Zoom. The timeline from the beginning was 2.5 months but due to the changes from the client, we had to extend it to 1 more month

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Previously we worked with several software companies. But I have chosen VReal Soft for its unique feature, which is confidence. They are always confident and provide exact results, you don't need to speak for hours with them or get unexpected results. They understand everything from a few words.

And when we had an issue on another project which was in production, I contacted VReal Soft at 6 am (their time) about that our server doesn't work and the client can't get access, and they actually woke up and fixed everything.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always could be something to improve. Since we are working with VReal Soft for 3 years they are always improving their style everytime. I'm not sure what to suggest

The main purpose of an application is that users can pay all their utility bills from Kiosk self terminals. For users it should be a simple and useful application, that will simplify their lives. The special thing in this project was that it is a desktop application for self terminals.

The VReal Soft company developed this project from scratch. At the very beginning, we made a short brief of specifications and a first estimate. Then, when all was approved, they wrote all the documentation that we needed to start working.

The project was divided into sprints. In our application, we have a list of requirements, that customer could use. User can: view payments and procedure, see the map that reflect all the terminals in his city, news, view smart tutorial video, and print a form for administrative procedures.

What was the team composition?

The project team had five people: one backend developer, two frontend developers, one project manager, and one QA tester. The size of the team and its composition has not changed during the project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our application was finished in the planned term. After that we launched it and saw that users liked it! Customers make transactions through our service and we still receive great feedback!

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was really impressive. We always had a chat with each other, all questions leveled received an answer. All management was made through the JIRA tool. There were no issues caused by a language barrier. We had communication through Skype/Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was really impressed by how much the developers were always ready to help! They were open to new knowledge and work on product quality. And it was really a pleasure to see how happy they were when they understand how helpful they were.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Honestly, I'm glad that I chose this company. The developers and PM are honest and open, the quality of the final product is on top, as is the speed. Of course, sometimes it was necessary to correct something during the development process, but the team treated this with understanding and always tried to find the best and fastest solution.

Once we found this company, we needed to discuss all the details of the project, to the smallest thing. Within a week, the company fully prepared all the necessary documents for the start of the project and we started work. We agreed on the use of React Native, Redux technologies for this application and everything worked perfectly and very quickly.

The VReal Soft company was responsible for writing documentation, managing its developers, front- and back-end development and QA testing. This application is integrated into the native application for Swift and Java Android. As I know, this company also provides an AR/VR application development, expertise, MVP&Prototyping services and dedicated team (whitch is great, I want to say).

We always talked with the Project Manager, who was always in touch. He really cares about his developers and how their work is going. For my project was working one front-end and one back-end developer, a project manager a QA tester.

Within the year after the project is finished, we see a great number of glad users that are happy to have such an easy-to-use application, that fits their needs. This application is available in Google Play Market and Apple Store, so everyone can check it.

The project manager that was assigned for this project was easy to communicate with. We always talked through Skype and it was always convenient. The team responds for feedback was really fast, and they didn't hesitate to ask any questions.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the knowledge that this company has about mobile app development and their attention to detail. They were patient and treated with understanding if we needed to accelerate with something.

Are there any areas for improvement?

By the end, we have a great working product, that fits all our requirements. Everything can always be done faster, but I don't think that two days late to a deadline is critical. The quality of the work suited me, and I think that price meets quality.

Additionally, they often communicated outside of regular hours with various consultants from the client and external APIs, which also reflects our flexibility and responsiveness to needs.
