At VEG ER for Pets, we’ve fixed what was wrong with  emergency and made it work for people, their pets, and our employees. We do things differently: open floor plan hospitals, long-term career pathing, and a  unique customer-focused experience including  pet-owner participation. We provide expert  medical care for everything from vomiting to  complex surgeries and an experience that  really supports our customers and VEGgies.  Our hospitals are open 24/7 for pet emergencies,  so we’re always here to help when the  unexpected happens.

Venture PR provides full-service strategic public relations support, including media strategy development, proactive media outreach, and consistent earned coverage across top-tier and regional outlets. Their work spans narrative development, spokesperson positioning, and media training, ensuring our experts are prepared and effectively represented. They manage day-to-day press relations, coordinate interviews, and handle announcements such as launches and milestones, while maintaining strong journalist relationships to secure ongoing visibility. Beyond execution, they offer thoughtful reporting and strategic guidance, continuously refining approach based on performance.

In our partnership, their scope has also extended beyond traditional PR - supporting talent sourcing, onboarding, and launch strategy for new markets, demonstrating flexibility and a true partnership approach as our needs evolve.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Venture PR has driven consistent earned media coverage across priority markets, significantly increasing our share of voice—particularly on the West Coast, where the majority of our placements have been secured. Over the course of our partnership, we’ve seen steady growth in total media mentions and improved quality of coverage, including placements in top-tier and high-impact regional outlets. They’ve also helped strengthen our spokesperson program, increasing participation and confidence among our ER veterinarians while successfully navigating complex schedules to secure interviews. Additionally, their support in launching our first international hospital resulted in a seamless, high-quality rollout, demonstrating their ability to scale impact beyond core markets and deliver against new, high-priority business objectives.

Venture PR is highly organized and reliable in their project management. They consistently deliver on time and maintain clear, proactive communication throughout every stage of a project. They’re especially thoughtful in how they manage timelines given our environment—working with ER veterinarians whose schedules are often unpredictable—and are flexible when priorities need to shift. They’re quick to respond, solutions-oriented, and do a strong job of anticipating needs before they arise. Overall, they operate with a high level of accountability and adaptability, which has made them easy to partner with as our business continues to grow.

What stands out most is their willingness to go beyond scope—when we opened our first international hospital, they stepped in without hesitation to support talent sourcing, onboarding, and ultimately executed a launch that exceeded expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Venture Public Relations could have done differently?

One opportunity for improvement would be increasing in-person engagement with our hospital teams. While communication and collaboration have been strong, more proactive on-site visits would help deepen relationships with our spokespeople.
