I’m the founder of a startup company. We have innovative concepts about building and earning social media applications.

We needed help developing our social media application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

vativeApps provides us with a full package of development services, including UI/UX and graphic design. The team is responsible for building our app's MVP. We've provided vativeApps with the basic documentation and software requirements, as well as our concept regarding the designs. The team is building the app from scratch.

vativeApps is building a mobile app and an API-based application. For users, the app will be available through mobile, but advertisers and companies will use the API-based app. Our agreement includes web design, but we haven’t started that phase yet.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with around five teammates from vativeApps, including a project manager.

How did you come to work with vativeApps?

I found vativeApps online. The team was already providing some application clones similar to the app we wanted to build. I thought it was a good idea to start developing with them. I had dealt with other companies before and faced some difficulties explaining our concepts and ideas. However, vativeApps already provided some suitable clones to work as a base for our project.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $15,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2023, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very satisfied with VativeApps and happy with all the project's aspects. The team adds suggestions to our ideas and is very creative and collaborative. We’re still in the testing phase, so we haven't found any bugs.

How did vativeApps perform from a project management standpoint?

vativeApps is very precise regarding their sprints and timing. If we encounter a problem, the team quickly solves it. We’re happy with our progress. vativeApps is on time and always within our budget. We communicate using Slack and Jira.

Our project manager is good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

vativeApps' positive spirit and excitement are impressive. The team makes us feel that the project is not just a product; they engage with our app as if it’s theirs. vativeApps put ideas and suggestions, which makes us feel comfortable. We can rely on the team. vativeApps has the desire to do everything perfectly and satisfy us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

vativeApps can improve their communication system. It’s not a big issue, but I've had to hire a development coordinator to communicate with the team because I'm a businessman.

I was impressed at the very beginning by the fact they had such a clear outline of their feature lists and as well as various costs, so I didn't have to do so much legwork and cost. They also had a live, working mockup of the kind of app I wanted to create, and it was immediately available to view on their site and I didn't even need to ask them for it.

I was very pleased with my experience working with vativeApps and would recommend working with them.
