Develop an app for internal use that links subs, homeowners, and my internal team into one app for project management.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Each week we'd prioritize tickets. And each week they'd show me which tickets were complete. 

Every month roughly we would get a new app update once we were really in flow.

I could send them feedback from users and they'd log it appropriately and get their team started on it.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

By the time we were really humming with users and development the project evolved larger and larger as software typically does. The delivery was always there and the response to issues was very high. I liked that I could call them or message them anytime something came up and they'd respond. Chris is really great about capturing all the noise and then driving a decision with focus.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a whole team in Pakistan that is full of developers that allows the hourly rate to develop be reasonable for a smaller business like mine that wants a custom software.

Are there any areas for improvement or something utilasoft could have done differently?

I can't say anything bad about Utilasoft. I have had a great experience. I think for my own self I could be better about having my expectations set to the team so they can deliver or help me. As software grows the focus sometimes changes or gets off. I think it's key to maintain focus on the main thing and Chris has been really good about reminding me of that as he has tons of experience in the space. Overall I am happy with Utilasoft and think they are a great company to work with for software development
