Unibrix has handled the development of the Bgreen Marketplace from the ground up, supporting us through every phase of the project. This included initial project planning, and full front-end and back-end development.

Their team helped shape the platform’s core architecture, implemented user authentication, payment integrations, listing flows, and developed custom features and a secure admin dashboard.

Key Deliverables Included:

• Full-stack development of the Bgreen Marketplace (React front-end, scalable backend)
• Integration with payment providers and bank-based user verification (PSD2) including also creating an invocing system.
• Admin dashboard for content moderation and analytics
• Continuous QA, testing, and support throughout the beta phase

Unibrix team was tasked to create a mobile app based on given designs. The main goal was to build a mobile UI to integrate with our AI. The work included feature development with continuous releases of mobile app, meticulous bug fixes to ensure product stability.

I am the founder of Privowny and I have been its CEO until I sold it end of June 2021. Privowny is a unique suite of product to help consumers to protect their data ( Password manager, Alias email manager, Tracker manager and Data manager).

For what projects/services did your company hire Unibrix, and what were your goals?

We hired Unibrix to pursue software development and a relationship that has started with its founders back in 2010. Unibrix have been responsibe for the entire development of our back-end (Database modeling and maintenance, APIs used by all our front-ends, authentication using OpenId, , etc...).

They have been involved in some front-end development as well such as browser extensions on Chrome and Firefox +, user's account management, Admin interfaces and management including users' management, etc.. Last but not least, they had some responsability in Q&A and scripts automation to maintain key classification components. So they have been key in every aspect of Privowny.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I started working with Valera back in 2010 and other Unibrix members later on when they were part of other companies (I was introduced to the frst one by a friend of mine). Because of their professionalism, engagement, commitment and quality of their work, I always kept working with them and naturally contracted with Unibrix when they created it, without any doubt. It is all about Trust.

Before Unibrix, they have developed everything for Privowny including back-end side (MySQL database, Java based APIs, Emails forwarding management, implemented Elastic Search, etc... ) as well as our front -ends apps (browsers extension including all our managers and numerous websites using Javascript and the APIs they developed).

When we started with Unibrix, they continued to improve those components and implemented as well an opendId authentication platform using Keycloak. Also, they have put in place our Q&A platform (Testrail) and developed scripting automation to update key components of our services using Java.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 7 to 10 people including a Lead engineering, 2-3 Senior back ends developers, 1-3 senior full stack, 2 Q&A and 1 Script automation.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have been successfully passing SUS score with great scores over 72 and above 80 (for our browsers extensions) end of 2019 which led to the successful commercialization and launch of our services.

We have been using JIRA since the early days and had regular meetings as we used Agile methodology to manage projects. So they were fully integrated in the team and considered as part of the team. They have always been responsive, professional, solutions driven and fully engaged in the project!

Of course, as we were a startup, they are always things we can improve in communication, process, industrialization, ... but regarding the size of the team, they have been doing a great job and have always done their best to improve, even in the difficult times.! I thank them very much!

 We needed help building the infrastructure of our platform, integrating it into the private permissioned network, managing the network, and launching it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

 Unibrix has been tasked with building, launching, and managing our product. Their work includes core infrastructure development, digital document management, application interfaces, financing product implementation, security and compliance architecture, data architecture, and integration framework. Regarding core infrastructure development, Unibrix has implemented a decentralized identifier (DID) system. They've also developed verifiable credentials (VC) infrastructure for ownership and lien status tracking. In addition, they've built credential issuance, revocation, and lifecycle management systems and integrated JSON-LD contexts for Islamic finance-specific credential types. Unibrix has also deployed smart contract infrastructure on a permissioned blockchain.

 We work with 10–25 teammates from Unibrix, depending on our business needs.

 Unibrix has launched products, paying customers, secured technology grants, and accepted in the Qatar fintech sandbox. They've built the fastest-growing digital wallet on the Hedera network, responsible for over half of all account creations on the entire network at its peak. We've created over 4 million accounts via Blade Wallet technology. We've secured multiple technology grants and hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual recurring revenue from B2B embedded wallet technology products and services. We've also been selected to build a digital wallet solution for LG Electronics in our first year of operation. Moreover, we've been accepted to QFC Digital Asset Lab sandbox after launching the world's first embedded Islamic fintech platform. We've also announced the launch of the Digital Receipt System with AlRayan Bank. Additionally, we've won the International Grand Prize for the Islamic finance platform at Finopitch Tokyo 2025 and the Best Islamic Fintech Startup at Islamic Fintech Awards Dubai 2025 for our Islamic finance platform.

 Unibrix has very strong project management. They consistently deliver on time and manage expectations proactively. We communicate via regular Zoom calls and Slack. We also speak on daily calls every morning with team leads.

What did you find most impressive about them?

 Unibrix's ability to find and allocate highly skilled resources for bleeding-edge enterprise technology development in blockchain and AI is incredible. We consistently work in uncharted territories on technology or products that don't exist currently, requiring a unique combination of adaptability, creativity, and talent. Unibrix has this in spades. All of this is delivered at very cost-effective rates. Apart from all of that, the team is a joy to work with.
