I am the Chief of Staff to the CTO at Headspace Health, the most comprehensive digital mental health company in the world. We have roughly 1400 employees serving tens of millions of covered lives from general wellness to psychiatry.

For what projects/services did your company hire TurnKey Labs?
We were looking into expanding our development capabilities beyond the US to leverage top talent while lowering our overall cost base. Turnkey was one of the companies identified that make the short list and ultimately chosen to help us recruit and hire talent outside of the US.
SOLUTION
How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?
It was the commitment to our mission and straightforward communication and transparency. They really took the time to understand us as both a company and as people and really invested a lot of time into helping us craft a great approach even before any contracts were signed.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We decided to start looking in Mexico as it is close to where we were Headquartered in Santa Monica. We worked with Turnkey to center in on Guadalajara and Mexico City and center the recruiting efforts there. We started with 3 initial roles and as we saw success, we continued to add additional roles. Turnkey was able to adapt to new roles and evolve their understanding and increase time to hire with each candidate, exceeding our expectations.
Describe the recruitment process in detail.
Initially we identify roles that we want to fill, we then meet with Turnkey to transition the role to them. They sync with the hiring manager and begin looking for candidates. They perform HR screenings and Technical screenings and then bring us in to perform the final screenings of the candidates who have made excelled. Once approved, they extend an offer to the candidate.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
So far we have hired 8 people and there has been no problems with any of the hires. We are currently monitoring them as we do all Engineers but there is nothing to report that would make us consider this arrangement anything but successful.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have a shared Slack channel and we communicate in a sync meeting every week to discuss candidates, processes, and issues. All collaboration outside of this is through email and TurnKey has been very responsive through all communication channels.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The transparent pricing up front as well as the genuine desire to continue improving with each hire we make.

So far no.
