Areas for Improvement: 
There weren’t any issues with the work itself—it was delivered on time and met our needs perfectly. The only suggestion I’d make is around being more proactive. For example, it would have been helpful if the team had identified additional website issues on their own and recommended easy fixes. That level of foresight could have made the experience even stronger.

Having worked with TrooInbound at a previous company, I hired them again to help accelerate improvements on my current company's website in my new role. 

BL.INK needed several new website pages, optimized content and layout, and modules that were easy to work with as we add content. With TrooInbound's help, I was able to add the necessary pages and refresh the site, including the navigation, within about three weeks for just a few thousand dollars. 

Some of the things TrooInbound did specifically: 

• Created new modules and updated existing modules so they better fit my needs
• Created some new design elements, including top navigation, photo treatment standardization, and standardizing fonts and colors where they were previously missing. 
• Created a whole new experience for Resources. In the past, we only had a blog, so we could not easily share other assets such as ebooks and webinars.

TrooInbound created a Hubspot database that enabled me to add and categorize all types of content, then display key categories or topics as individual pages. Today I can easily feature new assets, create informative and relevant experiences for key audiences, and the whole experience looks cohesive and professional. 

In addition, I enlisted TrooInbound in a monthly SEO consultancy. We are repositioning our capabilities to go up-market, and while we had a lot of organic traffic, it mostly attracted low-value audiences looking for a free trial. TrooInbound listened closely to my new requirements and helped position BL.INK for the new terms and capabilities we are pursuing. Here are a few specific things they did: 

• Did all the keyword research and shared the data and our positions, which they update weekly
• Gave me specific topics and detailed overviews on blogs to write to attract the desired traffic
• Advised on low-value blogs/topics/content that could safely be removed

Within just a few months, we are now ranking for the topics we need, building awareness of new capabilities to new markets/audiences. They are doing a great job and we are seeing steady organic search growth, which is the most profitable channel for us.

• Many new leads that turn into clients come specifically from the website--specifically the new pages, and we are seeing more pages visited by users. 
• Organic search continues to increase and we are getting larger companies (our target) visiting the site and requesting quotes. 
• We now rank much higher for our preferred search terms, even appearing in top positions on page 1 for some categories that did not even exist a year ago. 
• They have saved me weeks of time by creating modules that are easy to use and flexible, answering my questions quickly, and providing blazingly fast turnaround on almost all of my requests.

They set up a Trello board where I could easily input tasks as requests. They always promptly acknowledged receipt, asked good questions, and kept me updated with progress via Trello and our shared Slack channel. 

They delivered projects/tasks early about 90% of the time; all other projects were delivered on time. For the maybe 0.5% of projects that took a bit longer, they always updated me on progress and timing and they were never late. I've been very impressed with turnaround.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

TrooInbound communicates really well. During intake at the start of a project, they introduce the team and schedule a Zoom meeting so everyone understands how best to work together, I share my goals, and we have check-ins via Zoom as needed. They're fast. Even though they're on the other side of the world, I'm always impressed with how quickly they will respond to me at almost any time of day. 

The pricing cannot be beat. I understand that at least 60% of success with any agency, employee, or consultant belongs to the client: It's imperative that I am clear with what I want and need, explain myself well, and answer questions or concerns promptly. Because I understand how to work with TrooInbound and can articulate clearly with them (and them with me), I get outstanding results that could take weeks from U.S.-based companies. 

TrooInbound was one of the first offshore companies I worked with, and I have never turned back. After working with several firms for other projects in the past, I trust TrooInbound. They are always friendly, kind, and do great work for me. They are my "secret weapon" as a one-person marketing team at a high-growth company. I could not do all I have done without them.

I actually appreciate it when TrooInbound comes to me with a new service or offering. For example, when I knew SEO was a priority, I asked them about their capabilities. They could do a better job of anticipating customer needs to offer additional services.

For example, I use Hubspot for all marketing, CMS, etc., and when I learn more about the expertise they have with Hubspot, I can think of new ways for them to help me. Recently I learned via LinkedIn that they do Hubspot reporting; perhaps a customer newsletter that outlines their services could help me consider them for other tasks I have.

We started with TrooInbound to help us build a new Shopify website for our company, HawkGrips. They worked tirelessly to give us the customizations that we requested and made sure the integrations from our old website worked with the migration.

Yes, initially, we were using Slack and Figma and then Dipali suggested Trello which made a huge difference in keeping us in sync as the project became larger than probably what any of use anticipated . We had a project manager, Dipali who was excellent and she brought the developer, Maulik, in whenever there were technical questions. When Dipali was out, she always let us know that Ankit was available should any concerns come up. 
I never once felt that I would be in a bad spot if our website went down or I had a pressing matter. I've felt that way in the past with other developers but not at all with TrooInbound. They were excellent communicators and went over and above the call of duty. They were patient with us and I'm sure we were high maintenance to them at times, for sure.

Their desire to be sure that we were happy with the project and that things worked. Their development skills are incredible and they are true to their word. Their people are pleasant and easy to work with and competent. I also know that they are extremely capable in this space.

I think we have learned too but knowing graphic design a bit better or knowing how to interpret our look and feel or being able to take sites we like and make them unique for us was the biggest challenge. It was a heavier load on us and we aren't graphic designers but we ended up doing more of that than I'd like. TrooInbound would iterate as much as we wanted but that wasn't a great use of time and probably b/c of us trying to design, it was more programming on TI too. I think I would do it differently next time but you live and you learn.

We had neglected our hosting service on Hostgator for another server because our website and client websites had been hit by malware. It was very bad! We lost clients, and could not find an end in view. When we met TrooInbound, via a connection on LinkedIn, they understood he brief, which was to clean hostgator, clean the client sites on the temp host and move them back to Hostgator without any relapse. It was done so well and they stayed with us till it was fine.

Their portfolio and insights into the problem gave a good impression. They promised to do this quicker than other tenders, and delivered.

Initial research was necessary, as the material we had on it was questionable. They did the custom API integration with WordPress quickly and implemented the solution to my site. Not quite sure what tech they used, as I only know the basics about the product technology.
