Extremely professional project management. They delivered on time and were very responsive to shifting needs on my end. They were able to understand my objectives and push back on unnecessary requests I may have had.

Even though they were outside of my company, they felt like they were approaching the project as a real partnership. We communicated quite well and I appreciate the ownership they took in the work they delivered. There was clearly a healthy company culture that translated into their work and overall approach to our relationship.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Systango could have done differently?

Although we had a thorough pregame plan through 'stories,' there were a couple minor instances where we were not on the same page as far as functionality and appearance. Further confirmation before development might have been useful. In all honesty, I think any outsourced project would run into this. It could have easily been the way I communicated our goals. They were however very quick to rectify and get back on track!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked their project management and communication. The punctuality and professionalism have also been excellent. Although what Systango has delivered hasn't been perfect, everything has worked and overall has been excellent value for money.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Perhaps helping clients like myself think ahead a bit more with respect to how modifiable features and functionalities are. Whilst the specifications I have requested have always been adhered to and delivered, it has become clear later that some modifications and changes that I thought would be relatively minor, require more work than expected. This seems to have been a related to limitations associated with using Wordpress and Zoho.

We were looking for a team to help us set up our Google and LinkedIn ads accounts for our target keywords and ideal audience and manage our first campaign. We were also looking for a team that could conduct an SEO audit of our website.

We interviewed a handful of vendors through Upwork and were the most impressed by Systango. They had the most competitive price, and we felt they understood best what we wanted.

After a couple of calls prior to working together and a kickoff call, the team got to work right away, conducting an SEO audit of the website. After sharing their suggestions, they set up both our Google ads and LinkedIn ads accounts to be ready to run campaigns, and conducted keyword research and audience research based on our suggestions and conversations. After collaborating with us and allowing us to make any final edits to the copy and the keywords/audience, they put together multiple campaigns and managed them over the course of a couple of months, iterating to improve the results and consistently communicating with us to eliminate keywords/audiences that were not relevant.

We worked closely with two members of the team - Kartik and Girin.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We started to bring in new users and leads for the first time through ads, and we were able to see which keywords and audiences responded the best, which provided us with valuable information going forward.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was great - we had meetings when needed, and we would always receive messages when our input was needed (e.g., which keywords and audiences to eliminate). We always had a very clear understanding of the work that was being done and felt very informed throughout the process.

We hired Systango to help us build upon our existing products. This involved web based and mobile applications. Our goal was to make them more stable and to add more enhancements.

We initially met to demonstrate the current products and get the Systango team familiar. Despite not being able to ship the equipment (Indian customs), the team and myself were able to still debug issues, as well as work on enhancements. Several web-based and mobile app technologies were used.

We were able to resolve several bugs and implement several enhancements during one of our products clinical trials. After the new apk update was pushed, our patients and therapists were having a smoother and easier interaction

The project manager was fantastic. They are always communicating efficiently and keeping her team and myself aware of all that was going on.

What was very impressive is their ability to work with a US based company in terms of time of day, language, and most importantly, without being able to have our product with them (Indian customs)

Not necessarily Systango, but India in general needs to figure out a way to allow their development companies to receive equipment overseas.

I am the director and founder of LetIN, a platform that allows UK renters to rate and review their home rentals.

What challenge were you trying to address with Systango?

I hired Systango to develop a clickable platform prototype that I could present to investors.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Systango developed a prototype of my platform using Microsoft Azure. I had an initial call with their CEO to discuss my idea and what investment stage our company was at. Three months after our initial discussion, we kicked off the project. We went through a discovery phase, setting up our user flows and determining our user personas — we needed a better understanding of our potential customers and what features they wanted to see.

I worked with 10 teammates from Systango, including the design lead, project manager, and back- and frontend developers. 

How did you come to work with Systango?

I found Systango through a Google search for software developers. I researched several companies before setting up a call with Systango to discuss my ideas. Since we were only in the project's concept stage, I needed a company that could provide significant technical support. I hired Systango because they had an established team that could handle all of my development needs. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around £7,000 (approximately $9,000 USD) with Systango. 

What is the status of this engagement?

My engagement with Systango was from December 2021–February 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Systango fulfilled our objective: developing a clickable platform prototype. Also, we were able to put together the complete plan for the app build that included user flows and features. 

How did Systango perform from a project management standpoint?

Systango had a very thorough approach to project management via an Excel spreadsheet. We had weekly meetings, and I received weekly reports detailing that week's process — they made sure to break down exactly which development area was being worked on, the timeline, and the staff on the project. Typically, I communicated with Systango via Slack and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Systango had a very impressive attention to detail and had a very structured workflow. They documented everything in extreme detail, breaking down the projects into different flows. This was my first tech project, and Systango's detailed project structure was invaluable — they showed me how to frame a project and determine what key deliverables I needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think Systango could've been clearer on their pricing. As a startup, knowing the scale of the costs earlier on in the project would've been helpful. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise customers to be mindful of the time zone differences and the impact it will have on communication, although Systango is very flexible in their communication.

I am the Co-Founder and CEO of our NFT event ticketing company. We provide NFT ticketing services to promoters, venues, and artists.

Our innovative and disruptive idea combines blockchain technology with a decades long event ticketing industry. NFTs are at the forefront of disrupting many industries and Systango was hired to help us turn our idea into reality. They lead development from the early planning stages, all the way through production. This included custom blockchain programing, complex web development, and highly scalable cloud infrastructure.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Systango because they knew right away all the components our solution would need. From the right blockchain to the various cloud computing requirements, they were prepared for what we needed. They were extremely knowledgeable of the various pieces of technology we were looking to use and also had a bery attractive price point.

Systango started with an extensive 4 week planning phase, which resulted in a full project plan and software architecture diagrams. They also provided interactive wireframes for us to show investors. After the planning phase, they conducted continuous 2 week sprints, with demos of progress along the way. After producing an MVP, they conducted a 6 week beta phase to make bug improvements and solicit feedback. After the beta phase, they rolled us into production, which is where we stand now.

At the beginning, most of our communication was with the CEO. After planning was underway, a project manager was our main point of contact. We also had regular communication with their lead developer and engineering executives.

They were able to take our idea and turn it into a full functioning product. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome.

We had constant communication via Slack and also had access to the Trello board for project management. There were weekly team meetings for us to see any changes they made throughout the week. Syatsngo provided weekly status reports, plans for the upcoming week, and beta release notes.

I was impressed with how fast they were able to implement user feedback. We were also impressed with their ability to translate my business needs into technical needs.

There was a project manager, a team of senior developers that oversaw a team of junior developers to make sure that the quality of the codes and work was up to standard.

Considering the team was building 3 platforms, the turnover time was exceptional and was delivered in a timely manner. The team was also able to deliver the full project before the expected timeline as well.

The project manager was always accessible, even off working hours, and handled situations in a timely and professional manner. The CEO was always available for any concerns that we may have had. We suggested different online tools for communication and project management and the Systango team had no issues whatsoever in adapting to the tools that we have in place.

Their overall care and professionalism when it came to our product was impressive. Also, whenever there was an issue, the Systango team always provided a solution on how to face it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would have been nice if there was some checks with regard to simple mistakes like spelling or simple very clear bugs that could be avoided before presenting the latest build.

We engaged Systango to complete the custom web design and development of our new WordPress website. In a highly competitive market, our objective was to standout in the crowd by implementing innovation and fresh ideas.

We did thorough research of custom web designers and developers in both India and the Philippines to find an outsourcing partner who not only could execute the Ripe Digital website according to our brief, but also who we could start a long-term partnership with to assist with our client software development projects. The strong relationship we were quickly able to build with the Systango team, plus their extensive experience with custom software development were ultimately the deciding factors.

We approached Systango with a unique design concept we hoped was possible to develop into an actual website. After the initial kick-off meetings with the development and UI/UX team, they assured me that the functionalities requested were in fact possible and they could surely deliver. The Website was built on a WordPress CMS, have multiple parallax capabilities and a downloadable eBook on each page. Following research and development of ways we could continuously enhance the design of the website, the Systango team begun working on our website. The design of the website was then completed, with final signoff provided from myself to start development. The website development was then carried out with the exact functionalities and UI/UX features created in the web design stage. Once development was completed, the Systango team rigorously tested the websites efficiency and effectiveness on each different device to ensure a responsive website was delivered that worked across all platforms and screens. Post handover, the Systango team have been very responsive to any queries, changes or integrations requested from the Ripe team.

Throughout the website build we worked with an efficient small team at Systango. Including a project manager, UI/UX web designer and a Web Developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have received outstanding feedback from both current and prospective clients in regards to our new website. The website has been built to portray the Ripe brand, but also convert traffic into leads through capturing users contact details. We have seen a significant increase in our lead generation campaigns since the website went live.

Communicating primary through Slack, the Systango team were very responsive to any questions or queries raised throughout and after the project. Having a dedicated Slack channel specifically for the project has been excellent for talking directly to those involved in the project. Furthermore, the Systango team have always made time to participate in Zoom meetings when there is something more detailed to discuss. After these calls the project manager would then email a meeting brief to ensure no action points were missed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Systango's professionalism, communication and overall web development skills were a standout through the project. This coupled with the desire of the team to assist on all occasions has resulted in the start of a long-term partnership

The company specialises in helping airline loyalty point holders find availability for reward flights globally. Currently, it focuses on British Airways only. The research and development (continuing) was to move from a basic, static website with text only (and very limited functionality) to a functionally much more advanced one, offering features not available on any airline website globally. I am CEO.

Airline loyalty programs make it easy to collect points but much harder to use them for free flights. We wanted to develop an easy-to-use website where one search would reveal all the destinations globally you could go to using your points, including showing all cabin classes in an easy-to-read format, all on ONE screen. No airline loyalty program in the world offers this. BA does not offer this. For any given destination, we wanted to show availability, in all cabin classes, for a whole year ahead, showing the number of points needed for each selected flight. All this on ONE page. No airline loyalty program in the world offers this. BA does not offer this. We wanted everything designed and built from scratch, with minimum use of templates, third party platforms and plugins.

Referral. Recommendation. Spoke to other companies in the UK. Deciding factors were feeling that the people had right skills and attitude, that they were keen to win UK contracts and offered attractive terms, and that they would be flexible and patient with a non-techie person like me.

The apps are exactly inline with the designs and the performance is great. Plus having reviewed the code, the Systango team has not only followed best practices but also documented their work, making it very easy to follow.

We used a combination of Slack, email and Meets. Communication was always prompt and professional.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am impressed with their code quality and professionalism. They are leagues above competitors (having worked with a few over the years).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Any areas for improvement would be minor. I’d say the hardest part of the dev phase was the final UAT, which could have been organised better on both sides.
