We were migrating to the modern web framework NextJS and needed a design studio to help us redesign the website, giving it a sleeker feel, making it faster and mobile responsive, and adding new functionality. In Sync design studio respected our original mission and colors and redesigned the site accordingly.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CPO and a co-founder of an AI startup company located in Israel and the US. I’m responsible for product design and road mapping. Our customers consume our services as API. We have a frontend that we call language studio where customers can experiment with our algorithms and try various ways to process text, all in a visual way.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with In Sync?
We hired In Sync to provide UI/UX designs for an interface we wanted to develop for our customers. We had our ideas of how we wanted the product’s experience, but we needed visual design and UX experts to help us get a finalized design from which we could program and create the interface.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
In Sync provides us with UI/UX design services. They've used Figma to create our product's design from scratch. Part of the ideas was ours, and they also provided some suggestions. The task has been to design something that can easily explain how to process text and trigger users to try and play with it.
The product is called the language studio, an interface through which users can utilize our algorithms in text. The platform lets them experiment with text, try different algorithms and eventually see what they need to process their text. Additionally, it helps users to plan how to consume our service with API and discover our capabilities.

We've interacted with two people from their team: one main point of contact and a UI designer.
How did you come to work with In Sync?
We met them via a referral from a friend who had worked with In Sync before.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we've spent close to $40,000.
What is the status of the engagement?
We began our partnership in October 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our conversion rate is good, and we get positive feedback from users. We consistently see people moving through the platform and converting into paying customers. Moreover, our product team is happy working with In Sync; the developers can easily take their design and materialize it. Overall, internal and external feedback, measurements of the user journey, and the success of the user journey have been very good.
How did In Sync perform from a project management standpoint?
They've met all the deadlines and make an effort to do more than is required to deliver on time, when necessary. We use ClickUp for project management and communicate via Whatsapp and Zoom, where they record our meetings. During the initial phase, we had weekly brainstorming sessions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
In Sync is a great team, and their dedication to the project is very impressive. With them, we have good communication and collaboration at an affordable price.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything they need to improve; we're very happy with them.
Any advice for potential customers?
Be clear with your requirements. Additionally, allow In Sync to record the sessions so they can recap and get back to the recording if they missed something.

What was the scope of their involvement?
In Sync is fully embedded in our team. We’re an agile organization, so one of their team members joins us in our daily stand-ups. The deliverables are mainly Figma designs and support for engineers. We usually agree on the feature we’ll develop.
We have the tablet view and the mobile view for the apps.

We work with six engineers and one salesperson from their team. Mariia (CEO) and Stacy (UX/UI & Graphic Designer) are in charge of the design and our main points of contact.

We found them on Upwork two years ago. We got in touch with them and started some tasks to see if we could work together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Based on their design, we've gotten a lot of traction in the market from investors, developers, and partners, which is valuable. Overall, we’re preparing to launch the product this summer. We’ve gotten tons of positive feedback from investors — they’re just in love with the design.
How did In Sync perform from a project management standpoint?
The project manager has excellent soft and hard skills in design. She has risen to the occasion to meet deadlines and stand out. Moreover, they’ve been able to deliver the project on time and within our budget. They’ve also met the requirements, even for some features requiring more investigation and exploration. We relaxed the deadline a bit to allow market research, and they came up with the report.
We use JIRA to manage and track the project and Slack to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They work from their heart, working on the project like their own. In Sync listens to what we tell them and brings it out in the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they’re great with our project. We love everything they do.
Any advice for potential customers?
Embed them into your team and share the vision of the products with them — the results will be stunning.
