As part of our strategic initiative with Successive Digital, the development of our eCommerce platform aimed to efficiently leverage the Angular framework along with express.js and PHP to not only enhance existing functionalities but also prepare the architecture to support a multivendor environment, catering to both B2C and B2B market segments. 

This comprehensive upgrade aimed to enrich the user interface, refine workflows, and expand capabilities to include a robust system for vendor management and integration.

Crucial to this expansion was the migration of our infrastructure to AWS, a move designed to provide the scalability necessary to handle increased operational loads from a growing number of vendors and users. The AWS migration included setting up scalable server solutions, robust data security protocols, and seamless integration with our existing backend systems, ensuring the platform remained efficient and secure. 

They deployed the website on AWS EC2 instances in Mumbai and Singapore and established a connection using Route 53. Moreover, Successive leveraged Amazon S3 bucket and Cloudfront to store and distribute data and content to the required regions while maintaining better latency and availability for users.  

Successive Digital employed Agile methodologies throughout this project to facilitate continuous adaptation and responsive development. This approach allowed for iterative testing and modifications, which were required to accommodate the complex requirements of a multivendor platform. 

Regular feedback loops and agile project management practices ensured that each phase of the project aligned with our evolving business needs, ultimately leading to a dynamic, scalable eCommerce environment that supports a diverse array of vendors and enhances customer shopping experiences.

Additionally, we experienced a significant reduction in load times, improved system stability during peak traffic, and an enhanced user interface that led to an increase in customer satisfaction and sales performance.

We wanted to digitize the emission monitoring process and provide existing and new maritime business owners with a better way to abide by the IMO DCS, EU MRV, UK MRV Regulations, and Compliances. Therefore, a complete module development support was needed to develop an emission monitoring system where a front end must be created for ship masters to feed ship and emission data into the system, a front end for ship owners to track vessel performance and state, a front end for verifier companies or their officials who can access to submitted emission data, track it as per compliance, and generate reports for regulatory authorities, ensuring data integrity and compliance. 
A frontend was also needed to be developed for Polestar so that all the emission information and data could be integrated with the market analytics dashboard so that Polestar could expand its portfolio of services and increase sales. Additionally, all systems must be connected to maintain interoperability and better maritime navigation, safety, and reporting efficiency. One of the most challenging jobs was to develop and maintain data flow according to the compliance and regulations.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

One of the best things that happened for Polestar was developing the Emission Monitoring Module, which became an interactive and intuitive user interface and simplified the emission data submission, monitoring, and reporting processes. 95+ vessels have already enrolled in the emission module, and we are counting many more. Additionally, adopting the module within the industry increases the demand for the module, and different verifiers are looking to leverage our data API to assist their maritime clients in better reporting, compliance, and regulations requirements. So, our portfolio of services is expanding, and Successive Digital has technically made this possible.

After gathering all the project requirements and performing the current state analysis, they went beyond and connected with different stakeholders and regulation and compliance experts. For example, the AI-powered chatbot feature has improved our healthcare tracking by helping us address patient queries 24/7.

Overall, Successive Digital's work has helped me improve my business performance metrics.
