The longest-standing agency of record during my time at another company, Stratabeat helped us to get a handle on our overall marketing strategy via both new and existing channels. Tom and his team are bright, fearless marketers who helped to push us into new areas and encouraged us to be bold in our marketing. The most significant work we collaborated on was content marketing, case studies, white papers, and blog post development. With their help we published content on a regular basis for the first time ever and each post was fine-tuned to both rank extremely high without a significant push for backlinks, and it satisfied user intent better than competitor content for the same search terms. In addition to the standard scope of work that we settled on, the Stratabeat team was always game for a brainstorm or a new campaign that they could contribute to.

We were able to 10x our monthly organic traffic to the blog and produced countless whitepapers that drove thousands of new subscribers to our list. Direct lead gen was uncommon for our business model as most new business came through referrals and the marketing collateral was used in a sales enablement manner in most instances, however, the case studies and blog content that Stratabeat helped us to produce was regularly mentioned by prospects and clients as being insightful and influential in their decision to sign/renew with us.

Our account manager, Kyle, played a key role in driving strategy and keeping us aligned on priorities. At one point, we pivoted significantly in direction, and the Stratabeat team handled it seamlessly, showing they were fully on board, flexible, and eager to help. Their adaptability and commitment made our collaboration with them smooth and productive.

Tom (Founder & CEO) was very involved and genuinely cared about our success. He was very personal and wanted to help with anything, even if that meant sourcing a vendor that could do what Stratabeat didn't specialize in. The whole team was very authentic, easy to work with, and extremely hands-on.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They managed all updates through Basecamp, which they expected us to check regularly. Since they don’t use Slack, any questions or quick messages had to go through Basecamp (a platform our team isn’t in every day) or via email. This was a pain point for at least the first few months of working together. That was the only real challenge in our collaboration, so while they weren't flexible in that regard and I wish they would have been, they did make a genuine effort to bridge the gap by sending detailed recap emails and clear action items after each update.
