We are located in Seattle WA and have over a dozen physical stores in the United States, Canada, and Japan. We own and operate three hotels, a lodge, and have a large hub in the Seattle region.

I’m the operations manager for an e-commerce sports technology company. We focus on high-end tech equipment for sports development.

What challenge were you trying to address with StatBid?

We needed someone to help us with our Google Ads campaigns and anything related to the digital marketing space.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

StatBid provides us with Google Ads and PPC campaigns services for the 40 brands that we’re representing in the US. Each brand is unique and what they do is help us manage and organize each campaign into buckets, and keep us abreast in regards to their progress.

Apart from that, they also provide us with SEO and web auditing services.

What is the team composition?

We work with Shilo and Roy (Co-Founders).

How did you come to work with StatBid?

The new owner of our company thought that StatBid would be a good fit for our business moving forward. We actually worked with other vendors for our Google ads efforts, but StatBid was the best out of all of them.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent around $36,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

The ongoing partnership started in April 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We wanted to implement Google Ads into our business because we wanted to push more of our other products. One brand took up 80% of our sales but now, it’s only taking up 50% while the other brands are taking the remaining 50% — which is fantastic to us.

I can also say that since working with StatBid, our sales have increased 100% and in some cases, 300%. For every $2,000 USD we spend, we see at least a $60,000 USD return on revenue each month.

How did StatBid perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re one of the best teams I’ve worked with in terms of project management. They deliver on the agreed-upon due date but when they can’t, they let us know in advance. Apart from that, their communication is great and they always engage us through our Slack channel.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like how they prioritize us and make us feel like we’re their only account. They do that by being easily accessible, knowledgeable of our company, and cognizant of the ad spend. They have a unique work ethic and we’ve never worked with anybody who operates as they do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on their SEO. The auditing takes long because they don’t have the manpower, but I understand that the service isn’t really in their wheelhouse. However, we’d like to engage with them more so that’s not really a criticism — it would be something fantastic to have though.

I would say be sure to engage continually with them and communicate more than you think you need to.

I was the VP of marketing and e-commerce for Coast Appliances, a Canadian appliance retailer.

What was the scope of their involvement?

StatBid has been responsible for our SEO strategy, including content and site audits and content creation. The team has provided blog content briefs based on keyword research, competitor behavior, and other results.
StatBid has also been in charge of our paid search strategy, including campaign management with a complex co-op structure and promotions that change monthly. The team has planned, scheduled, and managed all of our paid search campaigns and measured and reported results on a monthly basis.

StatBid was an existing partner when I joined the company. I chose them because they were a great culture fit, had good value for the cost, and had company values that aligned with ours.

We needed help with our Shopify development and paid search and SEO efforts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

StatBid is assisting us with the development of our new Shopify store. Their development and strategy services for e-commerce re-platforming are extremely valuable. The team is also assisting us in rebuilding our SEM (Google and Microsoft paid search) and organic SEO efforts.So far, StatBid has developed a new streamlined template for the site, provided data migration services, helped choose Shopify apps and configure them, and given guidance on SEO for the new site. In addition to these tasks, the team has also developed a plan to rebuild our Google Ads account with a new strategy to help us drive new customer acquisition.
