We needed change how we delivered our designs to our customers.  In the past, we burned CD-ROMs and sold those to our distributors, and they then sold them on to quilt stores etc.   We also sold both CD-ROMs and digital downloads to customers directly from our website.   

Our competition was including redemption codes in their design patterns instead of CD-ROMs and we knew that was the way to go. Neither Shopify nor the company we use for digital downloads had a suitable application for doing this.

We hired Stalwart Digital to create this application for us because they had redone our website in 2023 and they were terrific to work with.

It took us awhile to figure out everything we needed.  This was our fault because we did not know what we did not know!

We now have a very easy to use app and It syncs with all new products we add to our Shopify page.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The inclusion of the redemption codes in our patterns instead of CD-ROMS has been a success.  Both our wholesale customers and our distributors are very happy with this new format.   The thing I like the most about it is that if there is a pattern update, it is now very easy to send the new update out to all those customers who have purchased the patterns because we have a list of redemption codes that have been redeemed.   In the past, we had to hope that customers went to our “update” page on our website.

We had virtual meetings as often as we needed.   In between virtual meetings, we either just emailed or used Slack to communicate. They were very responsive.

Outstanding performance! Stalwart Digital have worked with us in helping to re-design our site in order to make it more aesthetic and consumer friendly. They did a full audit and came back with specific recommendations and why the recommendation were made and how this would help. 

They gave some very valid ideas which - although we have worked with 2 other design firms previously - hadn't been thought or offered to us. We needed to work quickly with our project and Stalwart Digital completely adhered to this. Their turn around was fantastic, they listened to all feedback and when an adjustment was made, it was totally spot on. 

The end design was on time and looks absolutely fantastic, and better than we could have hoped. In the few weeks of launching the new design, we have seen an instant increase in sales - clearly the new design has given consumers the confidence to purchase our products.

We have been live for 4 weeks now with the new website with Stalwart Digital. Whilst it's still early days, the number of clients to the site has not increased (and that was never in the remit) BUT the number of sales have over doubled. There is zero doubt that this is due to their fantastic efforts in massively upgrading our site.

Totally excellent. Always kept us updated when the next designs or layouts would be delivered, and 100% delivered on time. Communication skills are perfect.

I was impressed with their communication, speed of excellent work, and standard of work. Listened to our requirements and acted and made changes 'exactly' as we wanted, without a sub standard service (as we have had far too often before). Sid and Mitesh were extremely helpful to work with. They work not just reactive to our requirements but proactive in suggesting appropriate solutions and features. They helped with the decision making process by showing us previous examples of completed work and so we knew what the outcomes would be before they were completed.

They were always on hand to lend an opinion and help where possible, had a great understanding of the field and suggested the best and most cost-effective ways to achieve our desired outcomes.

Very easy to communicate and workflow worked seemlessly. They set up a slack account for us to share information easily.

Their personal service approach and attention to detail were impressive.

It was unfortunate that one member of the team had a sad bereavement in his family and so perhaps this slowed the completion of the process down just a little, but ultimately, this is an unusual occurence and they still completed the work as quickly as possible.

Of course a webshop is never finished, but for now we are super happy with the results. We are still measuring the outcome, since its launched recently.
