We started this platform from scratch with Softpers. We hired them through Upwork and we built our most important in fulfillment.happyagencies.com We provided the guidelines and they designed the architecture, coded the app in laravel + vue.js and hosted it in a VPS through laravel forge. They also worked in maintaining and adding new features to the product

Ali was leading the project and his team was very responsive and organized. We had a shared channel in slack where they were able to respond to our needs or incidents pretty quickly. Plus they adapted to use our task manager, clickup

They had a good commitment to fix issues even after office hours and their response speed was amazing

Are there any areas for improvement or something {provider_name} could have done differently?

Pretty much everything was good. Just that some team members might need to improve their language skills in English for better communication

Motabaqah International Laboratories, Limited/Mixed Co. is one of the largest companies in Saudi in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) business assisting government entities and private sector to develop their businesses by assuring quality and safety for their assets, processes and products. For what projects/services did your company hire Softpers Interactive?

We were using LIMS (laboratory information management system) for testing and sample tracking which all employees can access in network only and we faced difficulty always as we required VPN for it in our branches at different location.

What were your goals for this project?

We required web based sample tracking system which can be accessed from any where. We needed the same system and we are happy that we developed it with this vendor.

They were recommended to us by other company involved with us in other projects.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Project is Simple Tracking System that supports a modern laboratory operations and to effectively manage samples and associated data. By using it, our lab can automate workflows, integrate instruments, and manage samples and associated information. Additionally we can produce reliable results more quickly and can track data from sequencing runs over time and across experiments to improve efficiency.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

By developing Sample Tracking System, we are happy to say that we have stopped using LIMS.

Project management was very impressive in terms of communication, delivering results in time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We had direct access to their team and they were responsive 24/7. and apply the changes within desired time.

Are there any areas for improvement?

For me, i found them more energetic, more responsive. They were hard working and gave us what we need in time.

I’m the CEO and founder of a dog food company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Softpers Interactive?

I was looking for a way to customize dog food based on age, weight, breed, activity level, and body type, for online customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I first presented them with some fundamental requirements. Using those, Atif (Co-Founder, Softpers Interactive) developed an e-commerce website and integrated the customization algorithm. He also built out the subscription management platform that it’s linked to. The team utilized PHP to code for the backend.

What is the team composition?

Atif was my main point of contact, but he may have distributed some of the work to his team.

How did you come to work with Softpers Interactive?

I found them through a freelancing platform.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent less than $5000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began in April 2018 and they provide ongoing support. He’s always available to assist with any issues.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

His work had a critical impact on my business which hinged upon the customers’ ability to customize their dog food. He was able to implement excellent functionalities at an extremely cost-effective rate. What he was able to do would have cost me 10–15 times more with any other developer. And, the users would not be able to tell the difference.

He was able to deliver creative solutions to problems, and also deal with an intense timeline. Since he’s been so great to work with, he’s become my go-to guy for all development tasks.

How did Softpers Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

He was capable of delivering under a tight deadline.  He’s also very easy to communicate with and there were almost no issues despite the language barrier. We used Google Sheets to coordinate tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Compared to previous developers that I’ve worked with, he followed through with all of his promises. In that sense, working with him has been amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. I’ve been impressed by all that he’s delivered. I’ll definitely continue to rely on him.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be detailed in communicating your requirements, so you can give him all the tools he needs to execute. That clarity enables him to do the best work that he can.
