• Having a nice, polished landing page with what we asked for

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We changed the timeline a couple of times throughout the project which helped ensure that the project was delivered on time. Joel needed to wait on things from us and other third parties so they did great with managing everything and getting it done on time even when some things on our end were delayed. There were times we have issues and they were great at attending straight away, even out of hours which we really appreciated.

• Joel's vision and creativity and his passion for creating beautiful, lasting designs
• Social Fuels website and their presence. It helped show the level of work they are capable of doing.
• Joel's approach to the sales process. He was great on the call and the proposal was also detailed. He made the effort to show us he heard our needs and understood the task at hand.
• They went above and beyond a few times when we needed action ASAP.

Perhaps a structured weekly update to let us know when things have been done as relating back to the proposal and each deliverable
But that's a nice to have. I did always know where things were at.

I gave Joel a brief that was pretty simple. I want to my branding to look clean and professional and my website to be easy to follow. I already had my logo which I someone else design I was happy with it and gave that to Joel at our first meeting so he could build from there.

He redesigned my logo while we were chatting in under 10 mins and blew me away from that moment. Everything I communicated with regards to what I wanted he took the time to understand and implement. There were very few revisions or adjustments required because of the effort he put in to understanding me and my business before he began his work.

My project took a month to complete because I was slow in getting Joel the info he needed. I'm certain it would have been completed in less than a week if I had been more on my game.

Everything I asked for was done in record time. I've dealt with a number of people in this space over the years and Socialfuel Media is lightyears ahead of them My logo was done in 10 mins My Website framework was done in a few days My Business Cards were designed and off to the printer within 24 hours It was like the team could read my mind and then showed me my vision

I recently worked with a Social Fuel on a custom tool project and I was extremely impressed with their project management. They consistently delivered items on time and were always responsive to my needs throughout the project. Their ability to manage the project timeline was exceptional, as they were able to keep everything on track and ensure that all deliverables were met on time.

They also provided regular updates on the project status, which helped to keep everyone informed and aligned on progress. In addition to their strong project management, their team was incredibly responsive to my needs throughout the project. They were always available to answer questions, discuss any concerns or issues that arose, and provide guidance and support as needed.

Their communication was clear, concise, and professional, and I always felt I was their priority. Overall, I had an excellent experience working with this company on the custom tool project. What challenge were you trying to address with SOCIALFUEL Media?

We wanted to create websites for both companies to grow our local markets and build an online presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with a discovery meeting to determine what we wanted both websites to look like; they’re different businesses but operate very similarly. We had a brainstorming session about what SOCIALFUEL Media thought they could provide, and they gave us some design and layout suggestions. The sites feature our services and blogs, and SOCIALFUEL Media helped us create an email list. 

Our Instagram accounts are linked to the website, and both websites are linked together. The websites were built from scratch using WordPress, and SOCIALFUEL Media has provided us with SEO services and keyword research.

We worked with Joel (Director & Founder).

How did you come to work with SOCIALFUEL Media?

They were a recommendation, and after speaking with Joel, we felt they would be a good fit. Our work styles seemed to mesh well, and we really liked their previous work.

We worked together between October 2022–February 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t formally launched the website yet, but we’ve already had some contact forms sent to us, and we’ve seen a spike in Instagram followers. This speaks to SOCIALFUEL Media’s ability to help with natural growth and online traffic. 

They brought ideas to the table that we didn’t know were possible, and we love how the websites look. We’re really confident that once we really launch, things will go well. 

How did SOCIALFUEL Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a great job staying on track, and when we gave any feedback, they quickly implemented it. We didn’t have big deadlines, but the overall project management was great. We communicated in meetings and over the phone. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The two things that stood out were their creativity and collaboration. They took our ideas and built on them with their experience and expertise. It’s been a really good experience, and we got even more out of the engagement than we initially thought we would.

There could have been regular check-in periods throughout the process.

Get SOCIALFUEL Media involved in the process and allow them creative freedom. Don’t come in with a completely fleshed-out idea because they have great ideas you might want to include.

What challenge were you trying to address with SOCIALFUEL Media?

We had a new membership travel model and needed someone to help us design an engaging new website where our members could have confidence booking their travel.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SOCIALFUEL Media designed a new website for us. We had built the backend in-house, and the team designed an built the frontend using PHP and a few technology add-ons. Our requirements were for the website to have a logical flow so that our customers clearly understood that a membership fee was being charged upfront. 

Once customers sign up as members, we pass on the maximum savings to them, so the site had to function like a travel club. We needed the site design to give customers confidence; it needed to sell the story of the benefits we offer our members. Recently, we re-engaged SOCIALFUEL Media for another design project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were really happy with SOCIALFUEL Media’s work and their designs. Although we had to update some things based on customer feedback, we were pleased with the team, so we re-engaged them recently. 

How did SOCIALFUEL Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was really good. We didn’t have any issues through the process; there were no delays, and they were good at communicating through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SOCIALFUEL Media came up with excellent concepts and designs. They listened to what we were trying to achieve and met the brief’s requirements. Working with them was very straightforward — it was a good process. Overall, they were a pleasure to work with.

I don’t think there was anything they needed to improve.

My advice is to be clear with your ideas and allow SOCIALFUEL Media to express their professional opinions on what can produce a good outcome. Being a good communicator is important.
