I’m the head of marketing at Aerotech LTD L.L.C. We specialize in contract development and electronic product manufacturing. Our main production areas include GPS tracking devices and accessories under the brand iTrack. We also design, manufacture, and supply avionics devices for the Aviation Technologies division.

We needed to make an animated explainer video to showcase our company’s services, products, and competitive advantage to potential customers. 

What were your goals for this project? 

Our aim was to attract new customers from agribusiness, convey our benefits to all prospective customers, and demonstrate why we’re better than our competitors.

I found them on Instagram and clicked through to their website. I really liked their portfolio, so I contacted them.

In the beginning, Shepil Studio communicated back and forth with us for about four days before completing our script. Their illustrator then provided us with several sample storyboards to approve. After we selected our favorite option, they illustrated a complete storyboard and moved on to animation, which lasted about two weeks. In total, the project took four weeks to complete.  

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process? 

We mostly worked with their project manager but also spoke with their illustrator, motion designer, and sound engineer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success? 

We’re still working on our new website, so the video isn’t live yet. However, this was an important project for us, and I appreciate that Shepil Studio handled it entirely. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They delivered great work and communicated well throughout. The team originally suggested working through Trello to manage the project, but I thought it would’ve been too difficult, so we worked through Skype, Telegram, and other channels. At each step, they sent me demos for approval, which helped ensure a good end product.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It was easy to communicate with them because we both spoke Russian. They kept us updated at each step of the project, and the final video was great quality.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, not that I can think of. They did great work considering the price.
