I'm the Communication Officer of the Improving Connectivity in the Central Forest Spine Landscape (IC-CFS) Project. We are a project funded by the GEF, supported by UNDP and GOM. Spearheaded by Jabatan Perhutanan Semenanjung Malaysia.

The project has been around since 2014 however the exposure of the project is zero. We hired Seetru Studio to develop a website for the project where users can learn more about the project and the project's efforts in connecting the forest landscape in Peninsular Malaysia

The Managing Director of Seetru Studio was my lecturer during University years and i know that they have done a remarkable work. The deciding factors was the proposal itself as the cost is according to our budget, the timeline that they proposed as well as the professionalism that they have shown during the negotiation.

Throughout the 4 months execution, we always conduct discussion/meetings to discuss the with content, expectation and outcomes. All this were done 100% through online.

Mostly worked with Business Development at early negotiation stage. Then with project account manager, copywriter, developer and intern.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The entire project partners were happy with how the website turned out. we received a lot of subscribers from the website.

We work according to the timeline given. There are some delays due to Raya leave however the vendor has notified in advance and ensure us that it will be according to the plan. we communicate mostly thru emails, whatsapp and google meet/zoom.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They offered solutions in term of content management as the projects content as mostly in technical terms but the vendor manage to capture it and translate it to lay man term and easy to understand.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

nope.

Company is the global leader in our field, providing vital technologies and services worldwide. Leading provider of technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production, and processing to a global energy industry.

My role as Subject Matter Expert is to get involved in the visualization's development alongside a team of UI/UX (User Interface and User Experience) consultants; Develop a “persona-driven” or different domains with visualization, thus providing each persona with the essential information and valuable insights.

The main principles of the visualization are to create awareness, interest, desire, and eventually taking appropriate actions from the information consumed.

During the project Seetru Studio Sdn Bhd help us on:

UI/UX developers

• Draft sketches, wireframe, and prototype for internal evaluation through understanding of the requirement from the users
• Developed a hi-fi prototype for presentation and demo purposes
• Cohesive style guide and ensuring that a consistent design language system (DLS) is applied across the visualization
• Low fidelity (lo-fi) and high fidelity (hi-fi) prototype to conduct usability testing. Usability test will provide valuable insights on the expected against actual behavior by the testers, thus the next design iteration will be based on data which is known as data-driven design.
• Development guide sheet for the development team. This is to ensure the final build matches the DLS
• Responsive guide for multi-devices which ranges from widescreen monitors to mobile phones
• Catalogue UI assets and define behaviors throughout the visualization
• Created and iterated on assets that reflect a brand, enforce a language, and inject appealing factor to the visualization

Back-End Developers:

• Developed the data integration component with multiple data sources

Front-End developers:

• Built the website. The focus of the Front-End developer was to maximize the re-usability of the code to accelerate the development during the project.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was not in the selection stage of Seetru Studio Sdn Bhd. But I understand, is one of best options on the market due to quality work, commitment and engagement on their work.

After few engagements/meetings with our client. Seetru Studio Sdn Bhd was responsible for understanding the pain points, conducting UX research, and to understanding and evaluate user requirements.

Proposed prototypes to address a domain of information together with the Subject Matter Expert

The main goal of the collaboration is to co-curate an enhanced user experience that is focused to identify patterns, trends, and correlations to identify any potential production improvement, production deferment or process cycle efficiency to be later developed.

It varies at multiple stages of the project However, I remember being involved with around 4 UI/UX developers 2 Back-End Developers 2 Front-End developers

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Seetru Studio Sdn Bhd ouctomes: Documentation is the main source and the unique guideline for the developers and understanding the expected behaviours.

There is an extensive work during the project to understand each detail which at the end are documented and share with the client for future reference. Many positive feedback from our clients through many engagements, show and tells and final product.

In terms of visitors, there was a statistical as number of users that see the pages and were able to reach the peak of 100 users on the same day.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Seetru Studio Sdn Bhd project manager and the team. Was very reachable at any time, and outside business schedule. This is a very demanding project which needs extra hours effort and sped up time delivery.

Thanks to the contact engagement, we could achieve the Agile activities requested during the project. With the end in mind, tight deadlines, multitasking and client satisfaction.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They show a commitment to client satisfaction and the need to achieve a faster and better product. With the end in mind, tight deadlines, multitasking and client satisfaction.

Perform, continue research in worldwide trends to aim for the top-notch, up-to date with the most trends and provide the extra mile suggesting areas to improve.

Can not think what could have done differently that could have a reasonable impact on the project.
