SCube were engaged to renew and update the UKCFA website which had not been majorly altered since 2015. This meant redeveloping the look and feel of the website, ensuring content was accessible anywhere and on any device and making the site stakeholder friendly.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measurable outcomes included: 

• Development and design of major and minor pages
• Importing and scaffolding content on-site from the old site to the new site
• Technical guidance on systems, plugins, and third-party applications to support requirements
• Graphic design of website
• Launch of the website in a timely manner

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was delivered via email communication, online documents, and weekly project updates with the team. Delivered the project on time and communicated effectively. I had all my questions answered usually within 1 hour or less, which provided great comfort. We also held in-person meetings at 3 points during the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their experience and knowledge in the field of associations and members clubs. They understood what our end user required and delivered that. They were also open to feedback and delivered on time.

There is nothing notable that could change; it was a smooth process, and the site was developed in excess of my expectations.

This WebDesign was commissioned so that I could re-boost my website to feel more current and slick reflecting where I am at and the progression is like to make in my profession. It needed to display my work in a concise way and have slick usability for people to stay on the page and get to know me and my work

That the design met my spec, that I’ve had positive feedback on the layout that the service was friendly and I felt looked after in the process

They meet deadlines as best we could as I have a very l schedule in my line of work. The main thing was it was ready foropeninf night of my current big showthis month so I could network and be probed to direct people to my website. They were very flexible and kind with their time when we were developing the site and doing note sessions & feedback calls

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by how slick they worked together, and streamline the team process with Shovan as lead creative understanding my needs relaying technically to the team and facilitating a clear line of communication for them to feed back to me when reality does not align with design needs. In this way it meantwe could always arrive at a design decision that worked for us all and the technical requirements

Are there any areas for improvement or something SCube could have done differently?

There were a few moments when we were finding our creative rhythm that decisions were not cleared by me because the programme could not facilitate what I had in mind. Once they explained this we were then able to work around this and arrive at an acceptable place but it did mean a slight delay and me having to take up more time on notes then were necessary
