The project is about to finish, therefore it's too early to answer this question. During my project development, once the developers won't be able to reply for three days due to the national holidays. I faced a little issue with that. But for that, they had already emailed me and it’s my mistake that i missed the notification. Later, I face no issues and things are going smoothly with the system.

We needed someone to build a web portal and a mobile app in order to establish our business, and enlarge it across the marketplace.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed our real estate web portal. We shared our requirements and they built the frontend using HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular, and JavaScript, and used PHP7 and Node.js for the backend — they also used MySQL for the database and Linux AWS for the server. The web portal contains a user panel, a business owner panel, and an admin panel, with all of them having different features. 

The user panel has some options for property listings where users can list their properties for sale or rent. Users can share the property notes, sell property via email, and upload multiple portals on the platform for people to view. On the other hand, the panel for business owners allows users to add listed property categories. There’s profile creation for agencies, a property management option, and they can also man a sight section for the location that they’re targeting. 

Moreover, the admin panel allows users to manage featured properties — there’s also a review and rating feature, as well as social sharing across all social media platforms. There are additional tools for marketing and SEO, and we’ve implemented Google Maps for people to detect where properties are located.

Apart from that, Risingmax developed our Android app, and we’re planning to do an iOS version once we get some good results. The app has an easy user login where users can log in using various social media platforms, or even through an email — they can then create their profiles, list properties, and use filters and categories to check out the kind of property they want. There’s also a save section where people can add favorites for future reference, and push notifications to keep users updated. Aside from those, there’s also a property cost calculator, a calendar, a section for calls and messages, and analytics where admins can have properly detailed reports on how the app is working.

We work with around 10-12 people, and they’re made up of QA testers, designers, developers, and a project manager — who is our main point of contact.

The portal and the app have not been launched into the market yet, but I’m quite sure it will be a success. Once it’s launched, we will be able to work aggressively on the marketing and branding part of the process, and they’ll be doing maintenance for the portal and app. The current status of our solution is bug-free as of now. We were really particular about the speed of the app because we didn’t want our users to be waiting.

One of our clients, a world-class multispecialty hospital, wanted to automate its health records system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Risingmax created an electronic health record (EHR) system that consolidates medical charts into digital documents. The system is basically a collection of patient records, diagnoses, medications, and other relevant aspects. It allowed EHRs to be available instantly and securely to authorized users. Furthermore, it can be used for ordering and displaying health information through a patient portal. It has QR capabilities and is integrated into the hospital's central system. 

Outside of the project scope, the team also developed an API for an IoT-based device.

Communication was quite effective — we were kept in the loop and updated at every stage of the development. To track the development process, we used an agile-based software development strategy through Jira. We also used email and phone calls to communicate and Trello to assign tasks. There were no communication issues at all.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Risingmax's services were affordable; the team worked tirelessly on the project and kept it within our budget. In addition, they are a great team with good communication skills, so it is easy to schedule calls with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there were any significant flaws in their service. However, it would’ve been better if we could’ve had access to the whole team. There was a situation where I wanted to talk to one of the developers, but we only had access to the higher management.
