"Mdevari" is a non-commercial academic publication designed to enrich Georgian modern academia.

• We aimed to create an animated introduction that immediately captures audience attention and sets the visual and emotional tone of the show from the very first seconds.
• A key objective was to integrate custom animation and an original theme sound that reflects the series’ concept, strengthens brand recognition, and ensures consistency across episodes. Animated intros are especially important for making content memorable and recognizable to viewers.
• We wanted a polished, technically sound opening that meets industry standards, works seamlessly across platforms, and enhances the overall production value of the series.

The scope of work involved the full creative development and production of an animated opening sequence for a broadcast series. reroDev. was responsible for transforming our initial concept into a compelling visual and audio experience that reflects the tone and identity of the show.

The project began with concept development and creative direction, including style exploration and storyboarding to define the narrative flow of the intro. This was followed by the design and production of custom animations, incorporating original visual elements, motion graphics, and transitions tailored to the series.

In parallel, the team developed the audio component, including an original theme track and sound design that complements the visuals and enhances the overall impact of the opening.

Key deliverables included a fully produced animated intro sequence, original theme music, and final export files optimized for broadcast and digital platforms. The team also provided revisions based on feedback to ensure the final product aligned with our vision and quality expectations.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The animated opening sequence played a key role in shaping the identity of the series from its very first episode. It helped establish a strong and cohesive tone early on, making the content feel polished, intentional, and professionally produced from launch.

The intro contributed to strong first impressions, capturing audience attention immediately and encouraging viewers to stay engaged from the beginning of each episode. It also created a clear and memorable brand identity, making the series more recognizable across platforms. The YouTube metrics show that a large number of viewers kept watching the video after the opening sequence, which demonstrates how effective it is. 

We received positive feedback from both viewers and stakeholders, specifically highlighting the quality of the opening and how well it complements the overall concept of the series. Internally, it also set a high creative standard for the rest of the production.

Overall, the success of the project is reflected in the strong initial reception of the series, improved audience engagement from the outset, and a distinctive, memorable visual and audio identity.

The project management ran smoothly throughout the entire process. The items were delivered on time. The company was especially helpful and open to communication regarding all of our needs, and responded with useful insights and creative direction.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed us most about reroDev. was their ability to act as a true, full-service digital art studio, flawlessly executing both the audio and visual components of our broadcast's opening. Often, you have to hire separate agencies for music production and animation, but reroDev handled both brilliantly under one roof. The unique, stop-motion watercolor aesthetic they developed is visually striking - blending gritty, atmospheric elements with beautiful, flowing colors. Furthermore, the way they synchronized this highly original visual style with the driving, energetic custom theme song they produced was masterful.

Are there any areas for improvement or something reroDev. could have done differently?

I genuinely don't have any major areas for improvement; reroDev exceeded our expectations. If I had to offer advice to future clients, it would simply be to trust their creative process. Because their art style is so unique and layered, it might be hard to visualize the final product during the early storyboard phases. Just give them the creative freedom they need, and they will deliver something spectacular.
