We were looking for someone to overtake our email marketing and capture the "low hanging fruit" since we hadn't sent out an email campaign in a few months. We were also looking for a company to help us expand further on the email list base we already built. Reach Relm delivered across the board and even recommended Klaviyo, which turned out to be amazing. Zan, Olha, and Gabriel have always been super responsive and available.

• Money being generated from the campaigns and emails that they put together and continue to put together. They listen to what we had to say, but also provided some outside the box campaigns and flows that we could not have come up with!

Reach Realm have been responsive, innovative and professional to work with from the start. The scope was delivered in a timely manner without us having to chase. They are proactive with the communication so we are not left wondering where the project is at any given time. They are also receptive to feedback to ensure we are definitely happy with the output whilst also raising good ideas and suggestions based on their industry knowledge and experience with other clients. I would definitely recommend Reach Realm to any companies look for email marketing set-up and optimisation - this is a noisy space with so many companies offering the same service, so it's really difficult to choose but Reach Realm are an all-rounded company that provide great service, excellent communication and affordable pricing.

We have grown our email list significant;y and have created a loyal subscriber base. Email is one of our highest converting Chanels thanks to Reach Realm. They are always willing to be flexible with our needs even if they are outside the scope of the industry standard best practices.

We meet via zoom every other week to check on the strategy and make sure we are on track. We go over analytics to ensure all campaigns are optimized for success. We are sent deliverables on a weekly bases to review before sending.

While it's a large team working to make everything possible it still feels intimate and like we have a person directly employed by us to run our email campaign

After meeting quite a few agencies, we decided to go with Reach Realm because of Žan’s proven track record and extremely clear reports.

We started with an in-depth meeting about our company background and services. Zan did complete and thorough research of our field- unlike other companies we’d worked with on the past, who seemed to have spent only a few minutes looking into it.

He gave us a clear timeline of when to expect each email sequence launch, when we’d need to provide them with resources like photos etc, and also a clear explanation of what our results should look like exactly.

We were assigned a case manager & a team of strategists & copywriters. They worked along with us seamlessly in a very organized setup on google drive. We spoke weekly and discussed revisions & options. At any time if we ever needed, we always had access to Zan as well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Zan had given us a goal of 30% of all orders coming via email. We hit this result pretty early on in the game. Žan’s business knowledge and breadth of wisdom was and is still invaluable to us - even providing us with ideas and solutions to issues we were having in other parts of the business, at no cost.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was seamless- we met every week and had access to an extremely organized google drive folder, where we could always add revisions & comments, which were quickly added by the team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Zan himself is the most invaluable asset to our business - his understanding isn’t bound by his own particular field, and we have kept him on even after the project was finished, as a sort of business advisor & mentor. He is extremely generous with his time & even provided us with an emergency email blast free of charge, when we had a crisis.

We were more than glad to pay for the service- but that’s just how we’ve found Reach Realm- always glad to lend a hand & go the extra mile. They are truly a business that understands service and dedication to their clients.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Our first case manager didn’t seem to have the best grasp on our ideas - we discussed this with Zan & he immediately changed us to another case manager who seemed to instinctively understand our design & copy needs. She delivered above and beyond.

I hired Reach Realm do review and recreate the automated email flows within Klaviyo. Based on their initial review I was told their work would result in a significant increase based on their similar projects before.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I selected them from Upwork. Zan the contact I spoke to mentioned that although they were expensive, their work and what they could do would be worth it. I decided to give them a try.

Following the initial review from Zan, he gave a review on what should be improved and then the budget. After agreeing to the price I had an onboarding call with Hayley, who struck me as a very junior profile, I had the impression she didn't entirely understand all the feedback. This was later realised when reviewing the flows.

The key deliverables were 15 flows, however these were presented in a very basic Excel which did not allow for clear feedback and status updates. This resulted in communications getting mixed up in both the sheet and in email.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with 2 people, initially Zan and then Hayley. Hayley was the 'project manager' although i had the impression she was just a virtual assistant. It became a bit frustrating.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the flows were updated, there was no real handover/offboarding. I had to request these, which ended up being late. In addition, I saw odd things such as items that were agreed with Zan that were not communicated with Hayley. I had to fix a couple of other items myself such as discount codes not being valid or applicable to all items.

Finally I expected a sort of report showing how the new solution compared to the old solution, I got this, late, but it was not meaningful enough to show anything. Zan blamed the lack of sales/revenue on lower traffic which was completely incorrect. I'll probably have to pay someone else to double check all this.

Management style was sloppy, a very basic Excel that did not allow for clear interaction. Emails were sometimes misses or not answered, deadlines were usually not kept. Overall it was disappointing

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were just another standard agency on Upwork that promised things they could not deliver, using subpar staff to maximise their revenue.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Better onboarding, offboarding, quality of staff, timeliness, pretty much everything.

Our contract amounted to $2,500 a month for 12 months. That’s around $30,000 in total.

We started working together in March 2020. The engagement ended in March 2021.

Reach Realm consistently provided good content to support our marketing campaign. We didn't hit all our target goals in terms of customer retention and conversions, but it was not their team’s fault.

The communication was good. We had weekly meetings with them, and they kept us updated with their progress through a project management software.

I really enjoyed working with Reach Realm. They provided a good level of service, and I am willing to recommend their team in the future.
