Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the owner of an online label retail store, we produce and sell labels for all types of industries, supplied on rolls and sheet formats. Not only for retail, but we supply the trade markets too.

For what projects/services did your company hire Quickfire Digital, and what were your goals?

Our website was created in house 5 years ago, it was never really designed/created properly, so we looked at a few companies and Quickfire stood out immediately. They designed & built our website through the shopify platform, and wow what an excellent job they have made of it.

Our Goal was to start selling more frequently online to which has been a complete success from day one of launch.

How did you select Quickfire Digital and what were the deciding factors?

After initially meeting with Nathan, he made such an effort with a presentation of what our website could be like, looking at their previous work, it was a no brainer to move forward with Quickfire Digital.

We had an inital meeting to discuss our requirements, they put forward some ideas which were amazing, we previously had our website running with Woo commerce, Nathan suggested we move with shopify which works so much better for our type of business.

Nathan was our main port of call, who is one of the Directors.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

after launching our new site, our current customers love the new design, and sales have increased month on month. We are now getting more traffic too.

the management of the site was outstanding, we had daily discussions, nothing was too much trouble. Nathan even came to our offices to work by our side to keep within our time frame. honestly we are so glad we chose Quickfire.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nothing was too much trouble, we have over 1,000 products retailed online, once initially built, they gave us step by step guides on how to do this ourselves moving forward, even to this day they are supporting us with the site. another thing that we found amaizng, was the times of work, Nathan is always on hand day or night to help, honestly they are outstanding.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

nothing could be made better, They were simply perfect for what they have done for us at Go2products.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I run a marketing agency. However, I ran this project as a School Governor - the only on the board with marketing experience! This was a project to deliver a more attractive website for the school that showcases their points of difference.

For what projects/services did your company hire Quickfire Digital?

The website had been built using a provider that delivers school websites. It looked the same as everybody else's. It used a unique development programme which meant the school was at risk if the company ever went bust. We approached Quickfire to design a new website, in line with our new branding, and then build it in WordPress.

There are unique challenges to building school websites - there is a huge amount of statutory information that must be on the site, and is not hugely exciting or visual.

Plus there are a number of people within the school environment that need to be able to access and update the website. Those people are not usually experienced or skilled in anything to do with websites, so it was important to make it easy to update, and ensure the look and feel of the site was maintained no matter what.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

In line with education requirements, we sought three quotations for a new website. Two of the three companies were known to me, and were chosen based on my previous experience of delivering high quality results.

Quickfire were chosen, not because they were the cheapest - because they weren't, but because they had created other websites we liked, they had a large team, which meant somebody would always be available. They won awards for the quality of their service and delivery.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After initial discussion, I put forward my recommended website structure. There was some debate with the QF team, and the structure was signed off. The designer then spent time creating mockups of the look and feel of the site. Whilst wireframes is standard practice, I knew we would need to see full visuals to get a true representation of her vision. Schools are not used to standard web projects, so we had to be prepared.

After some batting backwards and forwards, the designs were signed off and it went into development. The site was built in WordPress using Elementor - making it easy to adjust aspects, and maintain it. During the development we had regular calls to check in and ensure our timescales were being met. We fed in content that was needed and made observations about tweaks needed to deliver the right end result.

Once it reached the end, the site was then handed over to the testing team, to "break" the site. The snagging list was created and ticked off by the QF web team. We were then handed the completed site for us to go through. A couple more tweaks were done, and then they liaised with the appropriate contacts to make the site live.

Two directors - one did the initial sale, then another took over as project lead. Two project managers - one was part time, but there was communication between them. One designer, one developer and one tester.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

With a school site you are not looking for the same objectives as a commercial project, so that is difficult to quantify. We have had good feedback from parents and the community about the website and ease of use. School staff have been properly trained and are finding it easy to keep updated.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager kept in contact with me throughout the project. We had regular Zoom calls, and agreed when we would next check in. Emails flowed backwards and forwards with requests for information or sign off during key phases of the project. I felt like they were all working towards the same goal as us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our initial contact was with one of the Directors, Nathan Lomax. He has an incredible approach - he listens, he suggests, he enthuses and he cares. That's pretty unique. Whilst it wasn't his job to manage the project, I always felt like he had eyes on in the background, and that really impressed me.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I always want things done more quickly, and I think there were a few times when the process could have been sped up. However, ultimately, it's about getting the right result and a good quality project. I don't suppose there are many that don't say communication couldn't be better, but I would say it could be even better. It was good, but there's no such thing as 10/10 for communication!

I'm the founder of the Green Vic, the worlds most ethical drinks marketplace.

I hired them to build my online Shopify store of over 300 products. My main goal is to create a smooth customer experience and drive additional sales from the right apps and offers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I used them to build my first website for my ethical pub and loved how professional they were, quick replies and how they kept me in the loop with all parts of the website development.

We created a google document of all my website requirements and thoroughly went through everything to make sure they fully understood what I wanted, to suggest options to keep everything within my budget and found apps to help meet my requirements.

1 project manager, 2 web developers and 1 from IT support for help with email set up, etc, who were always quick to reply and quick to make adjustments to my website too.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Everyone loves the look and easy of use of my pub website.

Emails and phones calls were the main communication tools we used and they would normally get back to you within a few hours maximum and definitely within 24 hours with an update or a reply depending on what I was waiting for.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their quick replies and no complaints when making adjustments to your website are great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really because any issues were resolved immediately.
