Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of an artwork documentation platform. We have an inventory system with multiple functions to help users document, remember, and share artworks.

What challenges were you trying to address with Prudensio Digital?

We wanted to synchronize our web platform and mobile application. We hired them to help us develop new features in parallel with one another.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed our PDF exporting feature. The exportation system allows users to create reports and save them in PDF format. This includes things like work lists, insurance, or condition reports. I think they worked with PHP. Our team did all of the frontend work, so they were just focused on the backend. 

What is the team composition?

Hale (Founder Director) and Safa (Co-Founder & CTO) were my main points of contact. Hale administered the project by drawing up the contract, making the timeline, and more. 

How did you come to work with Prudensio Digital?

Hale and I are in the same female founders' networks. We took an accelerator course together. 

How much have you invested in them?

We spent about €3,600 (approximately $4,307 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from July–September 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It was a big relief to work with them. They finished a project while my team was working on something else. We can deliver more features and attract new users. 

How did Prudensio Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was very professional. This was a challenging year, but the engagement was pleasant. They went above and beyond to make sure the project went smoothly. There were some setbacks, but those were on my end, not theirs. 

We had team meetings to plan and go over requirements. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing that they could’ve done better. There were things my team and I could’ve done better. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t exaggerate with them. They’re always working and respond to messages quickly, even after hours.

For what projects/services did your company hire Prudensio Digital, and what were your goals?

We hired Prudensio after having a terrible experience with a development agency that promised a high quality product in four months- only to get to month 8 with no results. Hale and Safa immediately took over, outlining the requirements we had, getting our feedback (we are a non-technical team) and acting as a real partner with a stake in our product and the outcome.

How did you select Prudensio Digital and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Prudensio after reviewing their roadmap and doing a short trial period of work with them in which they showed us not only that they were going to do what we had scoped, but act as a valued partner, pointing out things we had not though of, such as memory and cybersecurity issues.

Prudensio built our automated tool, from framework and backend construction to design/look and feel.

We are so happy with the outcome- Hale and Safa were great partners and identified things we didn't even know we should look out for.

This company is great for people who are not extremely technical, offering solutions in a cost effective way while also consulting on things that non-technical people might not think of, like servers, database size and security issues.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No! It was a great collaboration.
