All packaged professionally with intuitive, clean designs and natural UI interactions.

What impressed me most about this company was their unwavering commitment to quality at every stage of the project. Their communication was clear and proactive, their time management was outstanding, and they consistently delivered high-quality work without compromise. I was particularly impressed by their ability to quickly adapt to feedback and offer thoughtful solutions, drawing from a deep well of experience. Their genuine investment in the success of the project made them feel more like a partner than just a service provider.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Polyany could have done differently?

Polyany did an excellent job overall, and I have no real criticisms. If anything, there were times when the technical language around web development tools and processes could have been simplified for someone less familiar with the field. However, this was only a minor challenge and simply reflected the depth of their expertise — it did not detract from the quality of the experience or the outcome.

We needed help building our Shopify store.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Polyany did pretty much all of the development work to build our store. Since the launch, they’ve been maintaining it and developing new features and pages. Their work included core e-commerce functionality, the homepage, secondary pages, navigation, product detail pages, landing pages, and a product finder quiz.

We work with 2–5 teammates from Polyany.

How did you come to work with Polyany?

We found them on Upwork. We chose them because they had a good track record on UpWork (high ratings on long projects) and did a good job on the practice assignment.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent around $35,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our store is fast and relatively bug-free. The UX is visually appealing with good attention to detail. The platform has helped us successfully launch our store (and our business overall). Since the launch, our revenue has been growing nicely.

How did Polyany perform from a project management standpoint?

Polyany is great at project management. They estimate projects thoroughly and set clear expectations for the timing of completion, which they pretty much always meet. Sometimes I’m surprised at how long some tasks take, but they’re clear about the reasons for this. We communicate via messaging apps, google docs, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Polyany is very thorough and professional. They have a super-organized process that follows software development best practices. They are excellent communicators. They’re responsive on Slack despite the time zone difference. If they’re not clear about a request, they ask good questions. However, this is usually not necessary because they almost always understand my requests. They’ve adapted well to our communication practices using Google Docs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It sometimes takes a few extra iterations to get the finer points of the UI fully polished.

When changing PMs, bring them up to speed so they can add value to the project.
