We engaged PlutoSec to conduct a comprehensive cybersecurity assessment for our organization, focusing on internal network security, web application penetration testing, and endpoint protection. Their scope of work included vulnerability scanning, manual and automated testing, firewall and SIEM configuration review, and providing a detailed remediation report. A key deliverable was a prioritized list of vulnerabilities with practical patch recommendations, along with a debrief session to walk us through the results. They also helped us implement additional security measures to strengthen our overall posture.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After PlutoSec’s assessment, we saw a significant reduction in security risks across our systems. Over 90% of the identified vulnerabilities were remediated within two weeks using their recommendations. Our internal audit score improved, phishing simulations showed better employee response, and our firewall logs reflected a noticeable drop in suspicious activity. Most importantly, we now have clearer visibility into our security posture and feel more confident in our ability to prevent and respond to threats.

Are there any areas for improvement or something PlutoSec could have done differently?

One area for improvement could be offering a more interactive dashboard or portal for tracking findings and remediation progress in real time. While their reports were thorough and well-explained, having a visual, centralized platform would make ongoing tracking even more efficient. That said, they were always available for updates and clarification, so it didn’t impact the overall experience.
