We wanted to increase our brand awareness, engagement, and web traffic. As a charity, we have a Google Ad Grants account, which gives us a certain amount of money per month to use in Google Ads. However, we needed someone to manage those ads.

Passion Digital helps us with our Google Ads management, which includes providing analytics. Still, besides the PPC work, they've also provided us with SEO consultancy. When we first started working with them, we were in the process of setting up our Google Ads account. Given that it was a complicated process, they were consistently on a call with us to guide us through the initial stages.

Once the account was set up, Passion Digital started managing it completely. By that time, they had already been working for us as volunteers for many years, so they didn't really need to know anything new about us; the onboarding was very simple.

Before our paid engagement, Passion Digital came in to do workshops on topics like brand awareness, marketing, and SEO many times over the years. At some point, they analyzed our whole website and gave me feedback on what to change in order to gain more traction and traffic, as well as for the SEO to be more effective.

We're local to them. Given that we're a charity, they volunteered to help us many years ago; that's how we originally met them. Although we've known Passion Digital for many years, our paid engagement started in August 2023, and it is ongoing. We recently signed our second yearly contract.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've had a really fruitful collaboration with Passion Digital over the years. One of their representatives has even become the career champion for our girls, so we have something bigger than a basic working relationship.

Their work has exceeded our expectations regarding the web traffic we're now getting. Thanks to them, we've seen a 70% increase in web traffic. Since we launched the campaign to promote our donations page, we've also seen a big increase in donations, and we've only started with that specific campaign recently.

These results are great, but we also have to consider that once we started working with Passion Digital as a paid service, we also changed our website architecture, style, brand, colors, pictures, and content. Therefore, Google Ads aren't entirely responsible for these results.

How did Passion Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Passion Digital delivers on time and on budget, and they communicate really well with us. They're always on time for our monthly meetings, and they show us a full analysis report. If I request any additional data, they send it to me quite quickly. We use Microsoft Teams and Outlook email to communicate.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I don't want to give a shout-out to just one teammate from Passion Digital. We work with many teammates, and the whole team is great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Passion Digital is very professional in everything they do. The clarity of their analyses and reports is something I really appreciate and find very helpful. Overall, the way they present their work is very good and clear.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We have a quite specific collaboration, and it's working really well, so I don't think there's something for Passion Digital to improve.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Know your objectives. Passion Digital can help you deliver if you have specific instructions for them. Still, if you don't know your objectives, they also have a department that will help you find them. They're an agency that has everything you might need, whether you know your goals, need help with the strategy, or need to understand your unique selling points. Passion Digital can help you in every stage of the project.

We started with thorough audience research and they manage our Meta campaigns as well as PPC and our Google grant. They have supported us in improving the UX and subscription sign up process in order to maximise ROI. They have also given us some great SEO training so we can make improvements to our in house practices.

We took a short while to figure out frequency of reporting and communication. The style of communication has always been great. But a pleasing factor is their positive response to any challenge or criticism which makes it so much easier to progress and find the best approach together

We now also have an additional UI/UX project and an international SEO/localisation project planned.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Passion Digital have sent over several on-page website updates which we have been implementing, this includes content updates and technical SEO suggestions. This is all still ongoing but so far we have seen positive results in ranking positions and traffic share for the pages that have been optimised.

Our account manager Eddy and the team at Passion have been very responsive to our requests and are always on hand to answer any questions or queries we have. They manage our project well and our monthly deliverables are always delivered on time.

We have a strong marketing team so we required an agency that would work alongside us and our values, rather than just for us. We have found this with Passion, the team are great and always very responsive and helpful answering our questions. We can have some specific requests and requirements but they always seem willing and on hand to help.

We felt the project started quite slowly, we were very keen to start working on the findings and updates from the audit but we needed some specific actions from Passion. However, as soon as we raised this they did send over the actions and we now feel everything is managed and organised well.

Changes in keyword ranking, traffic to the site from search and conversions from search were tracked.

Items were delivered on time but initially, there were some issues with work being sent to us that had not been checked and involved too much of our input before changes could be implemented on our site. In recent months, they did not respond to our needs - several questions were left unanswered having been raised a few times. In the last month they did not deliver the full scope or final deliverables. Their projections for off-site SEO were not met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We negotiated specific terms when we signed our initial contract. When the contract was due to be renewed these terms had been changed without discussing this with us. We've never had this with another agency so that's unique. Eventually the terms were changed but we knew then that there wouldn't be a long-term relationship with Passion.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Passion Digital Ltd. could have done differently?

Passion could have been honest when attempting to change contract terms rather than adding them in without discussing with us. They could have responded to questions we had in the months before we handed in our notice and they should have worked the number of days we paid for in the final month.

We also recognise the importance of meeting projections for SEO. The organic results have all been fantastic and we aimed to even submit an award for it. Some results of our work below.
•    Generic clicks increased from 92,500 in May 2022 to 322,900 in April 2023 (249% increase)
•    Organic transactions increased by 250% in the same time period
•    Organic sessions increased by 280% in the same time period
•    DA improved from 9 to 16 with link building activity between Dec22 and May23

Regarding the changes in the contract, we apologize for any confusion caused. We changed our master services agreement with standard terms across the board with all clients, our intention wasn't to change the terms without prior communication with you but send it over for your approval. We value transparency, and we understand the importance of being clear and upfront in our dealings.

Finally, we are sorry that we have been late delivering the last of the work for our last month, but our intention was (and still is, despite this damaging review) to fulfill the hours and send the last deliverable to you. I’ve chatted with the team and we aren't aware of any unanswered questions, but we’ll be happy to answer if any have been missed.

Passion Digital Ltd. was very knowledgeable, and I was impressed with their expertise. The team was also really nice, and we had a good experience working with them.

I'm a global online marketing manager at Virtuozzo. We are a complete cloud platform for cloud service providers, managed service providers, and hosts. Our company is headquartered in Switzerland.

We hired them for their PPC services. We were expanding our PPC efforts and needed a company to support us in scaling our ad campaigns and providing consulting services. We also wanted to spend our money more efficiently and generate more qualified leads.

What was the scope of their involvement?

PD were focused on paid digital advertising (mainly Google Search and Display and LinkedIn), but not limited to that. They helped us to setup paid ads, optimise them, they also provided suggestions on things we can improve (such as landing page content, ad copy, ad creatives, and stuff), they also helped us to perform keyword research for search ads and find the right audiences for display campaigns on Google). PD also performed regular analysis on our ad campaign performance, so I loved their focus on data analysis - they always analyse numbers and come up with great analyses.

They're very proactive about providing feedback and options for us.
In addition to that, they were always there for us when we needed them, like if we need some support or advice from them immediately. So it really feels like we’re in the same team, rather than they’re an external agency.

We work with three people from their side: a social media ads expert, a senior Google Ads expert, and an account manager. The account manager is our main point of contact.

We started working together in August 2021, and our engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

So far, we’re very satisfied with the results of our engagement. Since we started working with Passion, we've seen an improved percentage of traffic coming from our paid ads, along with new leads. We’ve also noticed a significant drop in our CPL rate quarter over quarter.

How did Passion Digital Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management style is great. They always meet deadlines, stay within budget, and respond to requests promptly. Their communication skills are great as well. We have weekly calls to discuss progress and mainly interact through email and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are always keen to understand our business, our niche and what we need. They really dug into the background story of every ad campaign that we launched together and the target audience of each campaign. Many agencies said they’re doing that, but not many actually do that qualitatively.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything that Passion Digital Ltd. could improve on.

Make sure to provide them with all the information they need to do your project. Also, be involved throughout the project.
