Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Optimist led a full SEO engagement to scale organic traffic and MQLs while building a handoff-ready SEO capability for our team. They drove the strategy (aligned to our business goals), executed the program, and published content (we reviewed and provided feedback). Scope and deliverables included:

• Discovery & strategy: Keyword and intent research, competitive analysis, AI-search opportunity mapping, and a prioritized 6–12 month content roadmap aligned to business outcomes.
• Technical SEO: Full site audit with crawlability, indexation, speed, canonical, sitemap, and structured data fixes plus a prioritized remediation plan and implementation.
• Content program & execution: Pillar/topic cluster strategy, editorial calendar, content briefs, content creation, and publishing support — Optimist wrote and published cornerstone and cluster content; we reviewed and approved.
• Authority & link building: Outreach and content assets to improve domain authority and referral signals.
• Measurement & reporting: KPI definition, habitual reports (including one-offs), dashboards (organic traffic, keyword trends, leads/MQLs), monthly reports, and recommended experiments.

Key deliverables: technical SEO audit and remediation plan; SEO roadmap; content strategy, briefs, and published content (primarily SEO blogs across types, but also periodic ebooks among other forms); link-building work; tracking dashboards and monthly reports.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• 5× growth in organic search inbound pipeline
• 20× growth in organic traffic 
• Organic channel share doubled: deals ~10.5% → ~19.8%; wins ~14.0% → ~28.3%

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was outstanding. The team was organized, proactive, and consistently met deadlines; the only delays came when we lacked internal bandwidth to review content. Tyler and the team responded to requests promptly and were reliably easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by their domain expertise and their outside-the-box thinking around the changing AI-search landscape. They effectively bridged what AI/search looks for with our mid-funnel business needs (more recently, but TOFU in the past), their writers and designers quickly understood our message, and I trusted them with future product plans months ahead so content could be ready for launch. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Optimist could have done differently?

My only recommendation is for prospective clients: treat the Optimist like an internal team — share product details and roadmap signals as early as possible and alert them the moment you hear about upcoming releases or strategic shifts so they can align the roadmap, pre-seed content, and/or have content ready around launch. This was one of my keys to success.
