I’m the director of business operations for Hartig Drug, a retail drug store, pharmacy, and home care equipment services company. We operate across the Midwest, offering pharmacy services, prescription benefit management, and community-focused healthcare solutions.

What challenge were you trying to address with One Thing?

We initially hired One Thing for a website build.

What was the scope of their involvement?

One Thing has built our website, including complex forms, ad posting, and blog integrations. The team has also built a full intranet and started an e-commerce build. One Thing has also provided website refreshes and online forms.

We’ve worked with 2–5 teammates from One Thing.

We found them through a local referral. We chose them because they were focused individuals with a great value-to-cost ratio.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2010, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

One Thing has delivered on time with consistent quality control. We’ve seen increased website traffic, improved feedback, and better outbound communication and customer visibility.

How did One Thing perform from a project management standpoint?

One Thing has great project management and on-time delivery. We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One Thing’s consistent follow-up is impressive. Justin (CEO) and his team can handle any request we throw at them, from big to small.

One Thing has delivered a beautiful e-commerce website that handles a lot of custom projects. We’ve received positive feedback from users who like the website.

One Thing’s project management is good; they deliver on time. We communicate via phone and email.

One Thing cares about their product and deliverables. They also support the website quickly when things break.

I'm the senior technology solutions manager for a nonprofit organization serving myeloma patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

We needed support with website redesign and maintenance of our Drupal website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

One Thing has taken over a Drupal project that got stalled with a previous vendor. The team has been responsible for website redesign, UI/UX design, web server management and maintenance, and further development work for the website. Regarding features and functionality, the website includes a CMS, forms, Google Maps integration, events registration, SSO, profile management, responsive tables, smart forms, API integrations with third-party sites and vendors, and interactive social media uploaders.

We've worked with 3–5 teammates from One Thing.

How did you come to work with One Thing?

We found One Thing through a referral. Our Drupal project got stalled with a previous vendor, and One Thing was endorsed by the vendor to take over the project.

We started working with One Thing in January 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

One Thing has delivered the website on time and within budget. The team is also continuing development work on various AI initiatives.

How did One Thing perform from a project management standpoint?

One Thing has delivered on time. Regarding communication, we use email, Slack, and virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One Thing has been highly dependable and amenable to the many revisions we've requested for the initial project. The team is also able to handle all the integrations we've thrown at them.
