The domain had been dormant for some time. While the site has just gone live, it is already generating substantial business. Finally, this new website allows us to use some tools that are not yet on our primary site to prove them out and evaluate the potential cost/benefit of a broader implementation.

We were working on a complex project for a big e-commerce store that needed help with a middleware connector between their old ERP and Shopify store. The connector had to pull the product information from the ERP, parse the data, add extra tags and values that were required specifically for the e-commerce store, match with the inventory, and create and update products in Shopify. The connector also needed to send order and tax information back to the ERP. Then, we needed to set up POS Pro for multiple locations, and correctly send inventory data for each location from ERP there. We were also looking for someone who could help with email marketing and checkout customisations for Shopify Plus.

Omnycode delivered a fully functional connector in two months. The POS was set up and customized correctly, and the checkout upsells started increasing the average order value (AOV) immediately. We saw that around 5% of buyers added upsell items to the cart. Moreover, we got a 2.8% email marketing conversion rate in less than seven months and a low spam rating. Previously, manual product and order management took a lot of time and had many mistakes due to the human factor. After the engagement, we saved at least three hours of merchant work daily.
