Omnilab pretty much ran the show on this one. We gave them a detailed list of features we wanted, and they built the whole app from scratch. They stuck to our original design to keep things consistent and hooked it all up to AWS for cloud stuff.  

The handwriting recognition part was huge. They teamed up with a third-party to make that happen, and it worked seamlessly. The app itself is interactive—it asks users 12 questions, collects their answers, and then gives personalized feedback and practice. There’s also a smart algorithm behind it that adjusts the questions based on how you’re doing. It really made the app next-level.

Before Omnilab, we were stuck on iPads. Now? The app works on a ton of touchscreen devices. That’s a game changer. We’re reaching way more people, and the cross-platform setup makes the app way more attractive to customers.

Omnilab started by working closely with me and our web designer to really understand what we wanted. they made sure the new site was responsive and easy for our team to handle... halfway through, we switched from Drupal to HubSpot, and Omnilab adapted right away without missing a beat. they even made custom templates on HubSpot to match our ideas and worked on layouts that were both easy to use and looked sharpthey didn’t just build what we asked for, they brought up new ideas too. they completely redid our navigation so it worked better on mobile. the site now looks amazing and works across all devices

Once we identified the requirements, I defined the project’s scope, creating a data report within the payroll system. We wanted to ensure data could transfer seamlessly between the payroll system and our ERP, so I designed a reporting structure that mapped a matching key to tie data between the two platforms. After planning out which fields in the ERP would need to be updated, we handed off the integration work to the Omnilab Enterprise Solutions Ltd team.

The Omnilab team managed the API integration expertly. They developed a connection between the systems, allowing our data to flow as needed. They also prepared detailed configuration files, making it easy for us to adapt the solution for any future changes. They worked with a combination of IIS, SQL, REST APIs, and used several programming languages to accomplish the task.

From the outset, we knew we needed a strong foundation, so we set out to develop a minimum viable product (MVP). Omnilab stepped up to the plate, and within just two months, they delivered an MVP for both iOS and Android platforms. It was impressive how quickly they were able to turn our vision into a tangible product. Since then, we’ve been iterating on the app, now entering our third or fourth version, and with each update, Omnilab has added more features that our customers truly appreciate.

As of now, about seventy to eighty percent of the design and functionality is complete. One of the most valuable aspects of working with Omnilab has been their ability to help us balance user flows with the technical direction of the project. They really helped us maintain momentum after we got off to a solid start, guiding us through the complexities of app development.

Honestly, the results speak for themselves. We think our product is one of the best in the market right now, especially in our niche. Omnilab adapted to our way of working really well. To be real, we didn’t do a ton of research on them upfront, and the project ended up being a lot more complicated than we expected. We had a budget of about €200,000, but as the project grew, Omnilab brought so many good ideas that we ended up spending more. And it was worth it. We got a higher quality app, and they helped us launch it faster than we thought we could.
