I had received an email threatening to attack my webshop, therefore I wanted to enhance the security of my webshop, so that my customers information would not be leaked, and avoided the attack in the future.

They cross-checked all admin end modules, and uninstalled many unused modules that affected the performance of the overall system. They changed permissions for the critical files like configuration files, storage files etc, to enhance the security. They added double security for admin panel login. They recommended to enable Google Captcha for customer registration to enhance the security.

Throughout the project development cycle, my point of contact was the company's Founder, who delegated responsibilities to the developers and quality analysts to accomplish the required output.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My webshop is more secure now, no threatening issue afterwards.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The founder sent me reports after the work done. And I could easily communicate with him via email and skype when I had any questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The founder would let me know in advance how many hours would be needed to finish each task, so I could choose which tasks to finish first. They finished the work on time.

Nothing.

We wanted to build a mobile app where the employers and job seekers can connect with each other through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Hence, the decision making for both; employers and job seekers is just not solely dependent on the job seekers resume or the employers' online reviews.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was referred by a friend who spoke highly of iCodeExcel. I remember emailing them very late in the night but my email was responded within 2 hours which itself suggested they communicate well. The moment I shared my vision for the app, they provided me with technical insights, suggestions and more ideas that I never had thought of myself.

Being from a non technical background, they always helped me understand the technicalities in laymen language and always responded my questions. I think the confidence with which they presented me with ideas and their availability 24/7 was one of the decision making factors.

It all started with a kick off meeting, where, the founder of the company, the technical head and the creative head participated. They first provided me with design mock ups for the application. Once the designs were approved, the developers started coding the application. We have bi weekly calls to see the progress of the development. The application is being built using React Native.

We worked with 4-5 members, the founder, tech head, creative director and couple of developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They exceeded expectations when they showcased first design mock ups. As far as coding is concerned, we are currently through with 3/4 of the overall development. What I am very impressed with is; the out of the box creativity used with user registration forms.

Very impressive so far. Availability, attention to detail and precision with work. I have asked a million questions and I have got satisfactory answers for all. We are also using Slack to communicate. Currently we are before schedule.

Their creativity blew me away. Few elements they suggested I can include in the app was a result of outstanding visualization and thought process.

I am really happy with everything thus far. No areas of improvement required.

Delivery was on time. Expectation management was great, if anything unexpected happened then they were on the front foot, making sure I was aware of the concerns. All requests were accommodated for, even if were out of original scope.

As we had already worked well together in the past, this was sufficient. we were constantly kept up to date about the steps. and we always got to see mock-ups. We created web/mobile responsive designs in PSD formats. iCodExcel provided their services to convert web pages from the PSD formats into HTML5 formats. The HTML5 pages are compatible with all standard web browsers, i.e. Chrome, Edge & Safari.

iCodExcel delivered reasonable quality of the deliverables in a reasonable time.

We used emails & skype throughout the process of the project. Sometimes, we had skype calls for some critical issues.

The project manager was responsive to my issues. He fixed whatever problems we had reported.

The work can be done in a more efficient way.
