Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Deliverable was a bounty and application system that can be used by our affiliate recruiting company. Newsoft created a database, backend and admin portal to add users, new company & recruiter accounts, and bounties (i.e. job listings). They also developed a frontend site for candidate applications & employer review process, as well as MVP frontend user experiences for Recruiters and Company users. 

Additionally, they developed a Slack bot that integrates with Company Slack teams to notify them of new applications and send timed update requests to keep candidate statuses fresh.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Weekly team meetings to discuss progress and review what has been built. MVP build was feature complete before the deadline. After that we simply did QA and polish.

Everything was delivered on time and within budget. They were very flexible with our budget needs and MVP goals. They were also flexible allowing us to extend a week beyond the original contract to add in a few new things.

They have a great team culture with very strong developers. They got an impressive amount done with little input from me.

The project started with defining both ios and android apps, we moved to development after a month of back and forth about the complexity of the project and what are the ways to resolve them Within 3 months of development we have launched

The team was very dedicated, and the communications were fast, the team was able to meet deadlines. Both ios and android app are live in the app stores and have users

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was great, we used asana as task and bug manager

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I would say their communication and the ability to meet deadlines are impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We had some bugs but mainly it was out fault due to lack or correct product definitions, in any case the team was fats to respond and fix them
