Nerdy Joe was responsible for sending thousand of emails across dozens of domains in order to generate appointments for potential client discovery calls.

Email copy and cadences were all managed by Nerdy Joe in alignment with the key personas and geographies we were targeting.

We had a flood of inbound leads we are still trying to address despite our contract being over with Nerdy Joe. 

Dave and the team have always been available to talk and have expert insights into what might be required to tweak our campaigns for the best results.

We saw this success after their first round of tweaks and suggestions that lead to a constant stream of interested lead candidates.

Being always available for dicussion despite our time zone constraints, as well as constant monitoring of our campaigns was impressive. Most evident in the fact that the reminded me to follow up on a lead I missed in the sea of warm responses, showing their attention to detail in these campaigns.

I was impressed with the sheer volume and power with which they ran their campaigns. We're talking thousands and thousands of sends per month.

None, that I can think of - they have been nothing short of perfect in accomodating and understanding our needs.

David promised to book our team 60 qualified meetings over a 3 month period and couldn't produce a single meeting. It took them weeks to even write the marketing collateral and never provided any insight on the performance of deliverables. Whenever we had meetings to discuss the poor performance, David would continue to make faulty promises that were never backed up.

We were promised 60 qualified meetings and didn't receive a single qualified meetings. We only had 2 meetings throughout the entirety of the engagement over a 6+ month period and neither fit within our ICP. Meanwhile, our own internal marketing team easily books 4 meetings per day.

Nothing. I've never had a more negative experience with a vendor. Typically, when relationships start off this rocky a refund is immediately provided and both sides move on.

NerdyJoe was hired to execute cold outbound emails and cold calling to generate workable leads for our sales team, and ideally to get those cold leads directly scheduled onto our sales calendars. KPI's were leads forwarded to our team and appointments booked.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were assured they would generate at least 375 workable leads or 75 booked appontments for us in our first quarter together. In the end, they sent 1 lead to our team - which was completely cold and never met with us. It was an absolute failure, and even though they didn't come remotely close to delivering what was promised, we were still on the hook for a three month term.

The owner who sold us on the package began ghosting and avoiding us rather than working to address their failure. It left us meeting with a revolving door of employees - we had 3 points of contact in 3 months because people kept leaving their company.

Their project management seemed incredible poor. Each new point of contact we had made it sound like the failure of their campaign was because the previous employee did not structure things correctly. Nothing was ever delivered by them.

Working with Nerdy Joe was an absolute disappointment. They failed to deliver even a fraction of what was promised.

They also launched cold calling efforts in parallel to support the email campaigns, giving us broader coverage.

In less than eight weeks, we saw a steady stream of warm leads coming in. Meeting bookings increased, response rates went up, and we closed two new clients that originated directly from their outreach. Their cold calls also opened doors we hadn’t been able to crack before.

We’re happy overall. If anything, having a more detailed dashboard to track campaign data in real-time would be useful—but the weekly reports they provide have been solid.

30 days with them and not a single lead. Not. One. We were promised 10 appointments in 30 days and then they tried to change the goalposts to 7 weeks. The website says they’ll refund you but they won’t honor that.The owner won’t respond to any emails about refund requests. I guess the money is just wasted.

Avoid this company like the plague if you value your hard earned money. Also, their bio says they are out of Florida but everyone I’ve ever talked to is outside of the USA. Be warned. There are better options out there.
