I am the owner of Play It Out, LLC, and escape room in Souderton, PA.

For what projects/services did your company hire Motto Marketing?

I did not have a good handle on my digital marketing strategy. I went to Motto Marketing to get clarity, organization, and a solid marketing plan.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to find out how to use social media most effectively and efficiently.

How did you select this vendor?

I met Adriana Motto through the Chamber of Commerce and scheduled a meeting with her. After a long discussion about my business, I felt as though she really understood my problems. Her quote was a fair price, and I felt that the services she proposed would achieve my goals.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Motto Marketing performed a digital audit and made recommendations that I could apply immediately to start cleaning up my digital footprint. She then mapped out a plan, created a content calendar, and established my Facebook and Google Ad goals. Adriana created my Google and Facebook ads using the criteria we discussed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My ad engagement was very effective, and my social media schedule is effective and engaging.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. Adriana answers the phone, answers emails, and is happy to schedule calls and meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Adriana listens and really connects with her clients. She works hard to understand your business, and she is a very empathetic fellow small business owner.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would not change anything about the work Motto Marketing performed for me.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of operations and co-owner of a private tutoring firm called Crowne Education. We’re working mostly with high school students to help with their academics and prepare them for college entrance exams.

What challenge were you trying to address with Motto Marketing?

After several years, our marketing materials had become dated.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first thing Motto Marketing did was help us get up to date with all of our marketing materials. They streamlined a lot of our existing items to modernize them, including turning pamphlets into single rack cards. They highlighted our key services and pertinent information within these cards so people can rapidly read about what we do. 

Then, they did an overall assessment of our online presence and came back with recommendations to improve and grow it. We’ve worked on Google Ads and Facebook Ads, along with some other website issues we’ve had. Adriana (Owner Principal, Motto Marketing) has gone through some of our existing ads and helps make them more efficient and utilize keywords. Their efforts work to tie together our online and print presences, ranging from our site to our business cards.

Adriana is our main point of contact and some others support her efforts. 

How did you come to work with Motto Marketing?

I met Adriana through the local chamber of commerce, so I knew of the great work she was doing for the community. I looked at some of their marketing materials and that’s how we started working together. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $2,500. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2019 and our engagement is ongoing. We’re still working to implement the changes and recommendations Adriana has made. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everything they deliver is exactly what we expect and my partner loves working with them. All of the printed items are easier to read and have a great flow. Before, our messaging was scattered but now it’s focused and everything matches. 

How did Motto Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Adriana is great; she gives us a project plan and sticks to it. We always know where we’re at. We’ve had a good experience because of how organized and detail-oriented she is. She always offers advice and checks in with us whenever we need to talk. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Adriana listens and comes up with good recommendations based on our conversations. She’s able to focus on our mission and help us say what we’re trying to say. They’re genuine—what we see is what we get, which is great. Everything that they promise to do gets done and we’re comfortable working with them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve really had a great working relationship, so I don’t have anything for her to improve on.

Trust her. She listens well, so give her all the information she’ll help pull it all together.
